Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

Any ex Alligator/Slingair pilots out there who would like to share their current job status with the rest of us "strugglers". It would be great to find out where everyone got to!

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

After my stint at Alligator in 96 I was straight into the RHS of an F28. I loved it! Really interesting times in KNX and learnt heaps, loved every minute of it.

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

I was with Alligator back in 93/4. Since leaving I went to PNG where I have been flying a Twin Otter and Bandit on tours. Now I'm also learning to fly helicopters.
Does Craig Muir still own Alligator ?

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

And I will say this much, if the money was good I would be back at Alligator in a flash. Regards to Craig if this is being watched by anyone who might pass it on. Is the company still for sale?

Flew for Alligator 99/01 - now an FO on a Metro for a large regional Airline in Australia. Is Alligator still owned by Craig and Gail? Who's the CP there?

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

I now in Australia am flying for Jeff *

I worked at Slingair where I learnt to get in touch with my inner feelings under the guidance of our mentor the great George Kemble, who taught us how to love again.

Under the rigorous Slingair training program I learnt to fly IMC bungles scenics. As I recall there was much screaming, as well as wailing, and many tears...A good time was had by all.

I also worked for a year at Oombulgurri where I learnt all about using odors as a weapon. I also learnt how to flirt with insanity, then flirt some more...then end up howling at the moon.

I then spent several years training, firstly in Afghanistan with the Alqaeida country club where I studied violent nursery rhymes. This experience has given me a high level of proficiency in killing grandma eating wolves as well as grizzly bear home invasion.

I then spent the last couple of years at a delightful holiday destination by the name of Guantanamo Bay until I was selected by the "King of the Kimberley Skies" to work at Jeff *.

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

Was at S/A in 2000/2001. Left after a great year. Sad to read the place comes under a little fire from some unhappy campers these days.

After catching up with a few exTavern drinkers surprised to hear how things have changed. Both companies are close to being sold, Craig and Gail are still the current owners of AA and have just employed George Kemble as the bookkeeper!! S/A is looking for another CP and AA has just taken on an old PNG chap by the name of Peter Goudhew.

As mentioned above, had a great time in KU and as sprucegoose said, if the money was good I would be back in a flash.
