Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

Spent many years in KNX - 5 seasons in total, just shy of 600 bungles - yes sad I know. I still wouldn't trade the time I spent there. Great fun and great friends. Now bashing in and out of dirt strips in a Dash 8 in WA.

Cheers to drshmoo and maxx

Was at S.A from Jan 01 to late Feb 01. Am now flying the space shuttle and still live in Melbourne. Currently training for first flight to Mars in 2010. Guess that means I win, losers.

Re: Ex Alligator and Slingair pilots

Was halls creek & knx in the early 80's, now that was something back then no gps, what the !@#$%, just D.R naviagtion to places so deep into the desert, to places like Kintore, Kiwirrkurra and to Giles, it was just amazing how we did not get lost. And all those extra cold beers, when beer was cheap as chips.
And now, no more unusual smells to worry about...LOL

*** Aviation in itself is not inherently Dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly Unforgiving of any Carelessness, Incapacity or Neglect.........
