Hungarian Medical certificate for Scandinavian license conversion

Hello, couldn't find any info related to this issue, and i hope someone could give me some sort of answer.
I am looking forward to convert FAA CPL license to JAA, and as i've learned i need to have a valid JAA medical certificate accepted by the authority of the nation i do the conversion at.
Theoretically Hungary is a JAA member state, but the authority is not yet validated by JAA. So the question is, is my valid I class Hungarian medical certificate, that states issued in accordance with ICAO standards (so NOT JAA), but also states in one corner "PLH-JAA form 164-02", acceptable for a conversion in sweden or not?
thanks a lot
CsePeti

Wrong margarita.

You need a JAA medical in that country which your are going to convert your license. That meens that you need a Swedish JAA medical.

wow... margarita... thats an helpful answer there.

Chepety

Im not sure about this, but the UK has accepted an swedish JAA medical for a licence conversion even though it should have required a UK JAA medical. So the best thing to do is to get in contact with the Swedish CAA and ask. Not that they were ever helpful, but that will probably settle your mind

What matters is that you got an info what you were looking for! Good luck for your conversion.
