Does anybody know what the status of the Ukrainian Hrim-2 missile is? Any chance it could be manufactured and deployed?

Is anyone else suffering from their sense of outrage at Russian lies and propaganda being dulled down by their ever-increasing level of absurdity?
I realise this stuff is playing out for mind-control purposes within Russia, but the Russians I've met have been decent and intelligent people (not to mention a lot of fun on a night out). Surely to god they aren't being suckered by crazy crap like that in post #241 by NutLoose are they? Good to see there are increasing signs of civil unrest, in the form of what looks very like targeted attacks within Russia, presumably by Russians, to try and hinder their war machine. In the short term this may help Ukraine. At the back of my mind there are niggles about mass civil unrest in Russia and all the associated consequences for Europe (and the rest of the world). Hard not to look back at what happened a century ago after the revolution, and again after the break up of the Soviet Union, and wonder what mayhem might result if Putin was toppled by force. |
I'm looking forward to Parade Day, May 9.
People of Ukrainian descent and allegiance exist in great numbers throughout Russia, especially the relevant parts, the Western end of the country. I'd be very surprised if sleepers have not been identified and equipped with armed drones to bomb and disrupt the "victory" day parades - even one such successful attack, just a singe grenade in the middle of a big public parade would carry such a message. But imagine a number of them? Ukraine has a golden opportunity here to get a massive PR victory - so you can bet that they've been planning it. Let's hope it works. The sight of grenades dropping amongst the goose-steppong Orks in Red Square would be even better than downing the big bridge in terms of hearts and minds, and also in terms of strategic advantage due to the humiliation delivered. Fingers crossed. |

I’ve recently heard at a closed-door meeting in D.C. that, through backdoor diplomacy, the Russians communicated to the Biden administration that the delivery of ATACAMs would be a red line for them. Two comments: 1) I don't know what is worse self-imposed red lines or letting the Kremlin determine US policy towards Ukraine. 2) any red lines established by an aggressor are there to be broken and circumvented. Here is one of the ways how to do it. 👇
UK 🇬🇧 wants to procure Long-Range Missiles for Ukraine 🇺🇦 with a range of 100km to 300km and a payload of 20kg to 490kg. Companies have until May 4th to make their offers Sending missiles to Ukraine with a range of 300km and a payload of 200kg is the equivalent of sending ATACMS https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....bd386b8b2.jpeg |

Let's hope those stand-offish bombers don't meet any accidents over the Caspian Sea. Borders are not well defined up there.

This does not look good, I wonder how it will effect NATO and the sharing of information if they are replaced with unknown quantities.

A quick explainer for the reasons russia's invasion of Ukraine can only be defeated in the South: A quick thread 🧵
There are five major (green pentagons) and five minor (purple) geographic points that are the main objectives for russia to told and for Ukraine to liberate. 1/7 https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....ecefce727.jpeg |
Reference the “mass” cruise missile attack… Only 2 per aircraft - running out of missiles?
The Ukrainian Air Force says 9 Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers from Murmansk Oblast and two Tu-160 strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea area launched 18 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 15 of which were shot down. May 01, 2023 around 02.30 Russian occupants attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation aircraft - nine tu-95 from the area of oleenęgorsk (Murmansk region. ) and two tu-160 from the Caspian Sea area. In total, 18 winged missiles of the X-101/X-555. air base were launched. The forces and means of anti-air defense of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 15! https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e.../2/16/270a.png Hold up the sky! https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...f1fa_1f1e6.png Together - to victory! |

An interesting change of fortune, a UN statement that Russia is an aggressor state was now signed by China, Armenia and Kazakhstan!
That in itself is a major change. |
