So what's the "rotary Mk10" thing about. The OP sounds like one of those apocryphal Royal Mail stories where some punter this week gets a letter with a 5d stamp on it posted in 1967.

So what's the "rotary Mk10" thing about
As has already been alluded to, anyone who suffered the Lynx Mk1, 7 and/or 9 sees the Mildcat as what it is - a Lynx Mk10. The name change for marketing purposes only fools those who either a) want to be fooled or b) don't do their research. Purely a means of keeping an Italian-owned factory in Zummerzet in business for a little longer... I suppose I ought to add "IMHO".

There was a rumour that the re-naming was because calling it Lynx would mean it was within the scope of the original Anglo-French agreement!.
