Saudi Join the Nuclear Weapon Club

HT to SNAFU!

Tied together with his statement that they are going to move against Assad, and the statements from Turkey, this is a big flag being waved at not only Iran, but also Moscow.........

Saudi Political Analyst Dahham Al-'Anzi: KSA Has Obtained Nuclear Bomb. Test May Be Held Soon

Saudi political analyst Dahham Al-‘Anzi spoke on Russia Today Arabic TV channel on February 15 and claimed that Saudi Arabia has obtained a nuclear bomb. Al-‘Anzi said that the Saudis have acquired the bomb two years ago and that a nuclear test is expected soon. “The superpowers know about this,” he added.

Ooh, goody. We might be able to watch a nuclear war at last. Do you think Russia will leave the West alone if we promise not to get involved, or will the UK want to use theirs before Corbyn takes all the warheads out?

Time to buy shares in molten glass/sand?

What a cheerful thought for a wet, grey, day ... yet another extremist branch of a religion with a nuke

The threats are escalating on both sides......

Risking Nuclear War for Al Qaeda?

".......A source close to Russian President Vladimir Putin told me that the Russians have warned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Moscow is prepared to use tactical nuclear weapons if necessary to save their troops in the face of a Turkish-Saudi onslaught. Since Turkey is a member of NATO, any such conflict could quickly escalate into a full-scale nuclear confrontation."...........

The only family the Kingdom of Saud is interested is it's own 'extended Royal family', and oil money. Oh, and extending their extreme version on Islam everywhere else.

They exist in the 'family of nations' due to oil ... tax that away and they would be the new Albania.

Don't believe it. A quote on Russian TV seems like propaganda to me - great to stir up trouble for a domestic audience.

Can hardly believe that. Smells like one more kilo/pound of b-sh-t thrown upon the media fan.

First, the Saudis cannot produce the toy themselves. This would become clear quite soon (like with the Iran case). The only way to get it is to buy from a friendly islamic regime (we know one, which BTW did not sign the Treaty on the non-proliferation).

Second, the world intelligences would uncover any talks, if any, between the buyer and seller at their early stages and raise a serious point (both confidentially and publicly).

Third, even the subject is delivered, whatever are the delivery means (surface-to-suface or air-to-surface), they remain vulnarable for hi-tech military powers (including Israel in the first place) and could be destroyed by conventional hi-pres weapons.

I guess Israel would know about that if it were true. And they certainly wouldn't be happy.

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said "Believe only half the lies you are told".

(If it wasn't him it should have been!)

I spent quite a few years in Saudi and frankly the idea of them having a nuclear weapon scares me ****less. A more incompetent race of people would be hard to find, they would be totally incapable of designing or constructing such a weapon and would not have the ability to maintain it safely - remember the 'Inshallah' philosophy.

House of saud (that were put in power by the British) descend from jews, Israel helped them technically along with Pakistan, Saudis financed it.

Iran is the common enemy.

Do the math, as folk from the US&A say.

it's been an open secret for years the Saudi's funded the Pakistani bomb on the agreement thy got warheads you don't buy and install IRBMs to throw 1K HE warheads (incidentally, all launch pads aimed east at Iran, none to the west at Israel.)

But this is the first public admission of their existence.......

It's a sensational story, which on the basis of that very reaction leads me to think it's just that. The US simply wouldn't let the Saudis have nukes as it would destabilise the region and only fuel the Arab arms race they're so keen to avoid. Or, put another way, the US may be underwriting the Saudis militarily in the event of Iran etc getting boisterous, but that will be conditional on them shelving their nuclear ambitions.

The US&A dance to the Saudi tune, they're bankrupt like us.

Saudi funded the 9/11 terrorists, US&A turned a blind eye, then they invaded Iraq to find 'wmd', then 'regime change', then install 'democracy', then hunt 'terrorists', then fight 'ISIS'.

They didn't touch a drop of oil either.

All the places that welcomed Christians like Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Syria are now full of extremists since the CIA got bored of the western installed puppet governments.

Maybe chaos is exactly what the US&A wants now they're skint. War makes money for the elite, life is cheap.

I understand your math however Israelis wouldn't believe them even if they descended from Juda himself.
