Yes, nice looking English countryside!

Pity about those ugly clattering things in the foreground though....

Was that before or after the main cabin door was removed so that it sat in the open at Abingdon through two nights of pouring rain with the cabin open to the elements?

Why?

Rarelyfit - why would the dark blue be looking on in envy? They'll all be transferred across in a few years anyway (unless they keep getting written off...)

It looked fine to me when I had a poke around it with the masses on Sunday. Mind you, it did fly back to Benson with the ramp down - were they trying to dry it out?

Alex - whereabouts on SPTA do you take your pics? Is it around Everleigh?

well its not the stripey black and green one that was doing landing/ liftoff / hover tests at Westlands a couple of weeks ago, so there must be more than one flyable in the UK! Mind you it looked a bit shakey as it came in over Bunford Lane each time

why obviously? With the serviceability problems you could quite easily run out of them if all the good ones were on active service overseas.

Alex, good shots fella. Serviceability has improved much of late for all of the doom mongers.
