Singleton Merlin
It was the only one serviceable that day................in the UK!!!!!
Yes, nice looking English countryside!
Pity about those ugly clattering things in the foreground though.... :p |
Good catch mate - could never describe the 3A as beauty though!
Bet there are one or two dark blue folk looking on in envy :E

Quick call the meedja
"Aircraft gets rain water inside cabin shocker" |
Why?
Rarelyfit - why would the dark blue be looking on in envy? They'll all be transferred across in a few years anyway (unless they keep getting written off...)

Great Merlin shots, love it. :ok:
Was that before or after the main cabin door was removed so that it sat in the open at Abingdon through two nights of pouring rain with the cabin open to the elements? Alex - whereabouts on SPTA do you take your pics? Is it around Everleigh? |
Deptford Down?
well its not the stripey black and green one that was doing landing/ liftoff / hover tests at Westlands a couple of weeks ago, so there must be more than one flyable in the UK! Mind you it looked a bit shakey as it came in over Bunford Lane each time
Well obviously there's more than one flyable Merlin in the UK.
why obviously? With the serviceability problems you could quite easily run out of them if all the good ones were on active service overseas.
They were taken near to Eveleigh - thanks for all the comments
Alex, good shots fella. Serviceability has improved much of late for all of the doom mongers.
