Good air show.....


....but live firings during air shows is legit....... Go down to Yeovilton Air show and watch the Jungly assault...

Ah, but 40 years ago, or thereabouts, real naval aircraft did some extremely impressive fire power demos at VLN!

I recall a 'Vixen doing a simulated nuclear delivery. It roared in at warp snot, pulled up and did its escape manoeuvre. The seconds ticked by, then a big flash, b£oody big bang and a huge (petrol) fireball and mushroom cloud....

Sorry, but a few helicopters and machine guns aren't quite the same.
