Great idea guys, and I applaud your intentions, however in reality getting a civilian up for a flight in a Fast Jet is very, very difficult. Especially a foreigner (in the case of USAF flying a British civilian). It's hard enough getting recognised aviation professionals up flying with the RAF.
Keep up the great work Ricko

AlanM eat yer heart out.
Just one point; some of these guys seem to be flying with helmet visors up; I was always taught keep it down at low level in case of a birdstrike.

Quote: 'Unless, of course, you are Jeremy Clarkson or Boris Johnson, both of whom have flown in F15's.'
Farnborough '74, first visit of F 15 (with slipper tanks). Display crew using our crewroom borrowed my G suit for pax trips - 3 airman, one from IAF, cannot remember where other 2 from, had a trip.
All standing by to bid for 'a go' when message from airships (via MOD PE) 'No RAF personnel to be seen anywhere near an F 15'. Apparently political scare that we could start story about possible buy.
Only time I've been jealous of an article of clothing....no, I take that back, there was that pair of fishnet tights.

I'm prepared to stand corrected.
Especially (as rumour has it) if Ricko might have long blonde hair, and 36DD's.
I hope that he does get airborne sooner rather than later, so he can impress us with his aerial shots.

Absolutely top pics RICKO, well done lets see more of them!
As to the pod mentioned earlier. Looks like the URITS AIS pod to me - USAFE Rangeless Instrumentation Training System. Pretty standard training fit for numerous USAF aircraft this side of the pond. Similar to RAIDS but has been around a bit longer.

Well done, Ricko. I make a living shooting cars, not jets and I'd be happy with those for sure.
They're good shots. Make sure that if anyone wants to use them commercially, you get paid. There's plenty of companies out there with budgets for photography, even though you do it for love, take the money!
Prints for aircrew, of course are always freebies, IMHO.
You should show these guys, I bet they'd let you be a member:

Ricko
I'd suggest having a chat with someone like Terry Rumble of http://www.terrane.co.uk/about_us.asp - he's at all the airshows with his stall, and sells to all the sqns. the rest of the year.
Your shots might make a good line for him to sell.

It's a datalink pod to relay the planes height, speed attitude etc to a base station so that everybody can see who was where and did what at the debrief.
Remember the debriefs in Top Gun ("Gutsiest move I ever saw")? That's what's it's used for.

Isn't it a RAIDS pod? Similar to ACMI, but no ground receiver. All pods talk to each other, passing ht/speed/AoA/AoB/Hdg etc so when you are back on the ground, you can replay your mission as if you were in an ACMI range.
