And there was me thinking I was being helpful identifying it as a URITS pod on the previous page! It's definately not a RAIDS pod which as far as I know has never been flown on an F-15. Very confusing the proliferation of these AIS (Airborne Instrumentation Sub-system) pods: ACMI, RAIDS, URITS, KITS, ACT-R, NACTS, ACTS with BGT, EHUD, MLM, P4 series, etc, etc the list goes on.
I recall someone telling me there were nine different systems, not like NATO to fail to get to grips with a standard system! Still, preferable to being stuck in a bubble over the North Sea I suppose.

Stuff, just about to dive in with the same comment, but noticed the weathering on the tailplane. Solves a mystery for me, as I thought it may have been due to the airflow off the tanks.

Well spotted.
The two 2 seaters were used on the friday during the practices for media rides, i believe.
We got a ride in the Fat Albert on the friday afternoon during it's practice display.
