Any of those printed up poster-sized would look superb on a crew-room wall.
Have you tried using one of the pro-hosting sites, where you can post your prints for sale? They host them, handle all the sales, and you decide price and get a rake off.
Saves all the aggro of handling money etc., and give you something back for your hard work towards your petrol etc.

Ricko, I have been a professional commercial photographer for over 25 years so I feel slightly qualified to tell you that your shots are absolutely fantastic.
They are as good as anything I have ever seen anywhere in the world.
I too was once a keen amateur until somebody noticed my work. I now travel to exotic places all over the planet on commisions, accompanied by trusty wife/assistant all expenses paid and a nice fee for my work.
I have done OK out of it. You should be doing OK out if it too!!!

Hi Ricko, any chance you can post your settings or any tips for getting those phots please?
They have to rate as some of the most impressive images I have seen. I'm just starting to get into photography and hope to soon buy a good SLR and lens I'm currently on a Lumix DMC-FZ7 so it's just nice landscapes and baby phots at the moment but I hope to attend a C&G phot course and then graduate to a good Cannon or Nikon. My eventual aim is to get into motorsport photography with a view to going semi pro.
Again, amazing photographs, thank you for posting them.

Photo's
Ricko,
As an ex-photographer for BAe - where I must admit such opportunities were remarkably absent - I can only agree with all the previous gentlemen - you clearly have talent & motivation, not just a case of knowing the settings...
Go for it !

How many passes did the F15 make. It must have been at least 2 as the driver has his visor down in some pics and obviously came around again to get his face in the pic (visor up).
I am also impressed the way the detail comes through so nicely on the pics, with such excellent lift generated condensation. AND the aircraft happend to be fully armed AND have external fuel tanks to make it looking even more mean.
Right time, place, weather, aircraft load, camera, film speed, camera settings, photographer.

GPMG, there's a good thread already running here, which covers some of the stuff you'll need to know, rather than dilute Ricko's thread

Hi there.
Well i am overwhelmed with the replies.
I will get around to posting a few more later on.
However let me answer one or two questions.
Yes the Eagle did come through twice, no doubt he must of noticed me the first time around, well i did have a hi viz jacket on ( safety reasons and all that). As we all know any jet only passes the same location two times!
I do not post on UKAR sorry.
Grid reference? again sorry haven't got one.
I, like many other photographer spend hours and hours sitting on a hill in all kinds of weather waiting for the odd jet or two to pass the lens.
It is a 200 mile round trip for me and i start off at 5.30am to get out there and sometimes i go out two days a week.
The weather that morning was not good and as many will agree that part of Wales has a climate of it's own, it looked like an other bad day until that Eagle came through and produced these results.
Had the sun been out the shots would not have been that dramatic.
Ricko.

Come on pilot and WSO, you must have seen these by now, lets see the pictures that you were taking of our photographers from the back seat on the second pass.
Never mind entering competitions and selling prints, how about the Squadron / Base Commander awarding the photographer a flight in one of these machines for producing probably the best ground to air photo of the F15 (or probably any FJ) ever. They could have exclusive rights to the original.
Go on!
