Ok - having spent most of the evening going through the entries, the winner is Penny Washers with:

"McTavish's saxpence must be foond. All the Scots crew agreed on that".

Although in reality the photograph is of the Smith crew of an RAAF Squadron at Waddington during the Winter of 1943/44. (Its either 467 or 463 - I can't remember).

Well done sir - get the Nav to calculate the drift (as this crew are doing) and take it away!!

Aye - well, thankyou very much, Wensleydale. Here's a picture of Britain's crowded skies for you to have a go at.

The Department for Transport, giving a 100M contract to an airline to fly in essential supplies after Brexit, demonstrates that the airline does actually have aircraft.

"When we've perfected the revised separation requirements, then at the other end of the runway, the same number of planes will be landing in the gaps."

ATC: " Seed Bird 4073....maintain visual contact with Company Aircraft in front of you....cleared on course."

In many Seed Bird Cockpits: "Was that for us?".
