In a Sir Humphrey voice "Yes Minister, you'll find all that information right here. Just underneath the details about the cost of installing and operating Speys, rather than sticking with J79s. Oh forgive me, it's on the next page, err no, I meant the page after that, or perhaps......"

I don’t care how many engines you think this aeroplane should have, the NATO stock number says “quantity 1” for the engine , so one is all you get is 1, if you want 2 engines you are going to have to get the supply allocation changed !

"No, sir, lots of people make that mistake. It's not packing tape. We simply paint the whole aircraft green, then we paint it all grey, cover it with the tape, remove the tape and bingo! half the grey paint sticks to the tape and we have our green and grey camouflage."

Consternation and fuss were the order of the day, as the Grimsby Enthusiasts Club realised that 1 or 2 editions of "Build your Own Phantom" magazine must have been lost in the post.

Look, it quite plainly says 1:72 here. What do you mean "the photocopier didn't have that setting, so you just made do?"
