are there any airlines in middle east that still hire second officers and fresh pilots with new talent ?
I remember QatarAirways used to hire pilots and put them in holding pool for second officer positions,, however no further hiring takes place for second officers as far as i know

Qatar second officers used to need 1500 hours too.

As far as I know these were the requirements for second officers QatarAirways

PIC 70HRS
IFR 55HRS on actual aircraft
Grand TOTAL 200hrs
Valid CPL license
Valid IR on ME
Valid Medical
MCC certificate
Advance UPRT certificate

There's a few with QID (non-qatari) that joined recently and they hold EASA CPL/IR. Not sure how.

thats different...there used to be "second officer program" for pilots freshly out of flight school !

It's not the case anymore. They now have self sponsored MPL program.

Be careful about stories you hear from people saying things like,

"My friend got into X airline with only XXXX"

I worked at a company that had a min of 1000 hours no exceptions due insurance requirements.

That is unless the Director of Flight Ops is a friend of the family then you get in with 200 hours.

Now sometimes people really do get lucky but usually there is another reason why very low time people get hired.
