Be careful about stories you hear from people saying things like,
"My friend got into X airline with only XXXX"
I worked at a company that had a min of 1000 hours no exceptions due insurance requirements.
That is unless the Director of Flight Ops is a friend of the family then you get in with 200 hours.
Now sometimes people really do get lucky but usually there is another reason why very low time people get hired.
