Go to Symbiotics LTD website, this is where you’ll have your psychometric test. There are practice tests there as well that can prepare you. Just review the “cognitive test” and “FAST”

Are you sure about that? I think he is relating to the 15 minutes online assessment done virtually.
I have heard it’s has situational questions, 2 minutes tell me about yourself video record, and for last listening questions.

does anyone know about that ?

Anyone know what is about? what they ask?
Also I noticed that my status on the dashboard changed from "under review" to "transferred to a new opportunity" which doesn't seems super promising? All normal?

If you’re talking about the initial online interview, then it’s all face-to-face, nothing to record. It’s an introductory interview only where they’ll ask you to talk about yourself, and why you want to join RA, and maybe ask you what you know about the company.

my message above was mentioning the 2nd stage of their hiring which is online psychometric testing.

I really don’t know about the face to face one… I did submit my infos and applied for the position since its first opening and yesterday received this email copied below.

Above it says around 15 minutes approx. to take the assessment… does the psychometric fase takes that long only?

I always like to prepare myself as much as I can, but within said I am still not knowing what to expect.

would you guess something?

on the right corner info abou the airlines, they include Riyadh air into their software..
is it a good choice too?

about the symbiotics plans, do you recommend a bundle and which one?

I’ve passed their assesment and have signed the contract. So here’s my cup to tea:

the 2nd stage takes more as 15min. But it’s straight forward. It’s a personality questionnaire, a CRM questionnaire of “what would you do in situation “X””, or “given the following solutions to situation “Y”, which would you pick”.

both of them take around 30min each.

the psychometric test is 2 runs of the same thing. They look for progress and learning curve. So in my honest opinion, practicing it somewhere else reduces your learning curve on the test.

2) Technical ATPL Knowledge 3 minutes.
3) English Speaking Assessment, 6 minutes.
Was the format same as above when you did your assessments?

It is now becoming apparent to me that RA is doing a different kind of assessments for their current candidates. The early candidates had something completely different (45 min initial virtual interview, then online psychometric test, then a panel interview followed by a simulator assessment), while new candidates are now required to do an online 15 min assessment.

For those who are doing the new 15 min assessment, once you’re done with it, share the details with the other new candidates

I will post my feedback here as well as there seem to be multiple active topics and just to prevent any confusion about what to expect.

I have attempted the online assessment (although recently been hired at another middle east carrier) and can confirm the above:

1) Personality Traits Motivation, 6 minutes.
2) Technical ATPL Knowledge 3 minutes.
3) English Speaking Assessment, 6 minutes

It was very similar to what you can find on pilotassessments.com

Two questions are asking regarding your motivation and the 5 ATPL questions were very basic in my case.
The last activity is one personal question that is used to check your English speaking.

You can record the interview questions two times before submitting your video.

Finally doing the online assessment now.

For info - non 787 rated flag carrier Captain with 16000 hours, 13000 of which wide body, 7000 pic wide body, age early 40s.
