Just wondering if someone has any insight regarding the following statement concerning DEC on 787.

"Minimum 6000 hours total flight time on Multi-Crew, Multi-Engine, and Commercial Airline experience on a jet with MTOW of 50,000 kg or higher."

The way I read this, 6000 hrs on multi-crew, multi-engine. AND commercial airline experience on a jet over 50K.

So let's say someone with 8000 hours, but only 4000 on jets (2000 PIC 737)and the rest turbo-prop airliners. Would they qualify for a DEC?

I think you would be eligible... But at the moment, and whatever they tell you before you join, you are very likely to be put on the 737 due to the sudden addition if that fleet. Maybe that would be a nice choice - I wonder if the pay is the same? (anyone?). I was told 777 due to >10000h, but had had enough of long haul and declined. Sometimes regret not joining. I liked the more chilled and less vulgar vibe of Doha, (and let's be honest; the money) compared to the other ME options.

Anywhere between 3 days and onwards. Typically 2 weeks, but some have had to wait up to 2 months.

It is said in the email there will be a "Technical Exam" on the first day.

just wondering second opinions about what’s going on, I applied for tr Airbus fo position on 4th and they sent me propel invitation next day to complete my tests. I finished my tests on 7th of march and last update on my application was on 8th and status still shows “invited for Psa”. So my question is when I click on my status it’s telling me that I have been invited for interview please check your inbox , anyone knows what does invited for psa means and that description means after I click, second question is if I click on job title on my system it says “this job is no longer available” even tho it’s still on their main career page with same serial number. Any insiders or guesses

Wait for a response from them. It means they have yet to get back to you on the result of your online test. If you pass, the status will show INVITED TO DOHA.

same question here. Finished assement in DOHA in early March still waitting for feedback till now 22/3/23. I checked my application status on the web. It shows invited for PSA which was way behind actutal situation. I REMEMBER the web shows me anyother application seemed to be automated generated after I pass PSA . But now the other application is gone. I am however still in endless waiting.

I am Boeing type rated FO, applied in December but they have not invited me for any step in the process, anyone knows if they are not calling Boeing rated at the moment? only airbus?

I am Boeing rated and applied mid of January. They invited me to Doha 2,5 weeks after my application.

I have been waiting for the last 3 weeks for joining. My DOJ changed 4 times already. There is a delay overall at all steps. So don't worry.
