Any guys who in need to know about what really happen during the selection programme, please PM me. I'll answer it the best I can to give you some rough idea. Only about the selection programme, if you ask me about anything else, I can't give any answer for it.

Just recently completed the interview process in DXB and my referees been contacted. Anyone has an idea of how long it will take for them to get back to me with a job offer? Or how long it take them to advise me if am successful or not?

Thanks for a honest answer in advance.

Pull up, during the interview process they will have told you when you will be notified.
During my interview, I was told "about a month". I was emailed on day 28 after the end of the interview.
Some of my fellow candidates were emailed a reply within 15 days, the latest was after 6 weeks.
This was back in early 2008.
If they find you acceptable, then you can expect a course date giving you almost exactly the notice period you specified in your application.
Good luck.

All the questions I got was from the FAA ATPL questions bank (met, aerodynamics, fuel reserve policy, etc) with a few RVSM stuffs which was fairly straight forward, although I also studied the 'ace' book as good measure but did not get any from there. But the questions paper might be different.

Where is North?
Where is East?

Alternatively; try googling 'compass test' and Wikipedia will tell you all about it

Compass test

For COMPASS test….
if you have money to spend you may buy a good software from SKYTEST.DE (make a search on Google) "Preparation Software for Middle East Carrier Screening".
Good luck

Any comments on the recent change of minimum requirements to intend the interview? they must be quite desperate to find fresh pilot?

To be invited to the Selection Programme in Dubai, we will consider candidates who are short up to 500 hours of the above requirements.

They will consider 500 hrs below the published minimums for interview, but any change in the 30 ton rule?
