One thing I wonder is what is the amount of money this company is dumping on needless and borderline slave driving "security and ( joke) rules"?? Just the price to monitor, implement and install cameras on accomodations, ID swipes etc must be enough to compare to national security of most countries! ...Money that could be spent on much more productive activities for the company and dare I say, maybe even a salary increase?!

Seriously ladies and gentlemen thinking of joining (especially as C.C.)the goat farm do your home work, ASK about ALL the rules if u decide to interview, most of the stuff on here are NOT exagerations...

Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to whom the character is that wanders around London Department stores trying to recruit tall blondes as cabin crew for Qatari. Whilst trying to chat up my daughter he stated he got £200 for every one he recruited and that they would have a wonderful, well-paid job.

He claims to be a pilot but stopped the BS when my daughter mentioned that I worked for CX

The Qatar CEO is a little Napolean. Small d#ck, abusive personality. If I were to go there for work, I would get my type rating, some flying experience and then leave for greener pastures ASAP...

Things You Must Observe at Albaker

One of the participant here said Qatar Airways CEO needs a psychiatric. I agree with him and I have the evidence from many observations.

When you look at Mr. Albaker's face you would observe he lost all his hair on the front and central regions. Oriental medicine and in old times have an opinion in this regard. When hair fall happen in front and central part due to disorganised eating and drinking habits, (unless due to hereditary diseases like cancer), a variety of symptoms arises. Physically, they are likely to have acute and degenerative diseases like heart, diabetes, etc on long-term. Mentally, there is a tendency to develop schizophrenic conditions, changes of mood, irritability with lack of staidness, patience, generosity, compassion and perseverance.

Also, when you look at Albaker’s mouth, you would observe he has wide mouth with thin upper lip and full lower lip. Normally lips should be equal in size. At Albaher’s case, it shows unbalanced physical and mental constitution: physically, losing the ability of endurance and resistance, often may explodes with strange comments and opinions, and mentally, losing the qualities of self-discipline and perseverance.

All changes happen in the way we look like and behave are based on food consumption. Some people are lavish in protein, some overconsume sweets, some addicted to vegetables and salads, etc. The problem starts when imbalance comes by.

I go could further in my analysis, but I don’t wish to divulge into further scientific work. I linked findings of psychometric and personality assessment against facial and body structure for many candidates and found there is strong relationship - the index was the food system. There are many things you can find out when you examine Albaker’s face but better to stop here.

I read many news clippings about Albaker and he reminds me of Lebanese figure - Waleed Junbalat. Mr. Albaker seems unpredictable; often says things that are professionally and socially unacceptable, though he assumes a very responsible and sensitive position. He should behave in a model-manner that represents the organisation, ethics and values of Qatar airways.

My question, did Mr. Albaker undergo personality and psychometric assessment before his appointment? When a senior executive says smut things, he does not fit to be even a door man for a company. He should be under accountability and brought for a disciplinary investigation. By end of the day, discipline in behaviour is very much demanded for running a commercial organisation. A person who is disorganised in the way he behaves and speaks is likely to be disorganised in the way he manages a Company, with very much chances to cause a surprising problem. This are many companies collapsed in the Gulf region like Agility (warehousing company) and Gulf Bank in Kuwait where the CEOs were known for misbehaving socially in corporate environments.

Easy brothers

I'd like to see you talk this way in front of him. Bet you don't have the courage to do that! You are degrading yourself by speaking about this like someone. Let's be dignified in our conduct for ourselves, if not for our community. Being a CEO of such a company in such an environment brings huge stress with it that you and I cannot imagine. Let's go about our lives rather than wasting time. If we are unhappy, we have the option to leave, that's all.

Previous post by Togapilot:

"I have had a memorable experience with QR....I have gone back begging my previous employer to hire me as i think this is downright UNPROFESSIONAL (QR), i don't think QR will attract good pilots.../
Good luck fo all of those joining QR because you are going to need it!!"

Simply because MISTER togapilot didn't want to join Qr on A-320 but 777 only...!I you were 777 rated i doubt Qr will put you on 320!
If you are 320 rated sound logic to go to the 320 !

So if you are not working with us (QR) you should avoid coming here making non-sense post.
IF you are working with us just wondering what happens to you and your mind.. to defend now QR CEO as you were very critical torward the company before!!

"Lets go about our live instead of wasting time.." correct:agree with you on this.!
For the rest your post is a total nonsense.

Yes your right, the Germans should have done the same with Hitler...I mean After all he was under TONS of pressure with the hole trying to conquer the world bit...Poor soul...

Sarcasm aside; the negative, degrading and STRESSFUL environment created at this airline is the "CEO'S" personal creation...The solution?? Its very simple, in fact It is taught in all management courses of every level...The equation is simple...

Happy workforce=Productivity Increase for the company= Less stress for "overburdened" CEO

This is not just limited to "Pay me more" no, in fact simple things with minimal cost can increase workforce moral, in fact NOT doing things even helps, like NOT creating ACN about what water you can drink, what cutlery u can or cant use, warning letters because your hat fell off as you got something out of your bag, and w/e other examples are out there...All very very trivial things for a CEO that should be worried about the simple fact of making $$.

So, why not make his own existence less "Stressful" by treating people with dignity, respect, PROFESSIONALISM, and above all mutual respect...Not to hard an effort if you truly look at it right? Hell, even a house made gets told "thank you" every once in a while...

And as far as the "Courage" to tell him this to his face, well its obvious by the company culture that opinion in any way, shape or form is a very very definitive way to get a nice little bulls eye painted on your back...Thus the cycle continues, object in motion stays in motion bla bla bla and all that...

You reap what you sow as they say...Good luck on that management position u seem to be so eagerly looking for Toga

LOC22550- you prove my comment above.....it's foolish to get personal about opinions on a forum..........not worth wasting my time except for you.

......Just leave man, why screw yourself over this.

I am back to my previous employer flying Indian registered "737s" so you can keep your 320s and management positions to your imagination.

It's been 10 years since I joined QR. I can still remember how anxious some crew were when operating back to DOH because nobody knew what would happen.

AAB is disturbed. These are some of his extraordinary actions which I can remember:
  • Stormed into briefing and sacked the CSD in front of the whole crew.
  • Sacked a CS in front of my eyes onboard the aircraft.
  • Hid in the toilet to see that we were doing our pre-flight checks properly.
  • Held a mini briefing in the aft galley on an A300 service to DXB. Two girls didn't pass his quiz and were offloaded. He ordered that a full service had to be completed.
  • Sacked a girl because she had removed her hat during a turnaround in DOH and he accidentally turned up from nowhere. No passengers were on the aircraft and it was in the middle of the summer.
