It's been 10 years since I joined QR. I can still remember how anxious some crew were when operating back to DOH because nobody knew what would happen.
AAB is disturbed. These are some of his extraordinary actions which I can remember:
- Stormed into briefing and sacked the CSD in front of the whole crew.
- Sacked a CS in front of my eyes onboard the aircraft.
- Hid in the toilet to see that we were doing our pre-flight checks properly.
- Held a mini briefing in the aft galley on an A300 service to DXB. Two girls didn't pass his quiz and were offloaded. He ordered that a full service had to be completed.
- Sacked a girl because she had removed her hat during a turnaround in DOH and he accidentally turned up from nowhere. No passengers were on the aircraft and it was in the middle of the summer.
