However the other other candidates who belonged to the same race as the doctor were passed on as Fit in matter of minutes whereas us Europeans were deemed to be someone with high BP low eye sight and low hearing and that’s exactly why we opted to go to other clinic to rule out our suspicions and as it turned out the results were totally fine as opposed to what the Unicare’s.

Hey guys I want to share with you something really important regarding the Pre-Employment medical at Unicare please don’t even think of going there.
Well the doctor did the physical exam
height/ weight check and then the audiometry and she was like if I can hear some beep on lower side and I said no
then the BP which was spiked followed by the eye sight which became weaker the moment I entered the clinic.
I went for a thorough medical from a different hospital very next day and my reports were all normal audio 100% eyesight 6/6 BP 130/70
Same happened to my sim partner next day so be cautious

If you did your own (second) medical after the one at Unicare were you offered the job and successful?

Mediclinic is better and I’ll advise you guys to get your test done before going for final medical for proof on a safe side.

Heard some guys interviewed in early April and received notice the last few days telling them they were unsuccessful ? Thought they notified you with in a day or two informing you that you not successful. What is the average waiting period for FZ to give you feedback after the last stage ?

During the interview I was told 6 days and the other candidate 10 days but we informed after 21 days both unsuccessful.

Some candidates I’ve heard have gotten successful notifications as quick as 2/3 days after being in Dubai. Guess it depends, if they want you they want you.
A lot of unsuccessful pilots too considering the airline is desperate for crew.

I've also heard some guys get told up to a week later, I suppose like you said, it all depends on how badly they want you. If you haven't heard back from FZ with in 2 weeks I think you can count yourself as unsuccessful.........
