Devil

Final and last (friendly) advise. Do not go there. I repeat “DO NOT GO THERE”
Don’t do the same mistake as we did.
I know it all looks very good on the outside and “people are complaining every where. It cant be that bad”
Well don’t close your eyes and don’t tell your wife that this is a big opportunity and a great company.
THIS IS HELL on EARTH
U will suffer and most of all you family will leave you here.
THIS IS HELL

Regarding rostering....

On the 777 for instance after a Houston or a Whashington (ultra long haul) how many days off in a row would you have?

Is it true that they have the habit of rostering a stand-by day in the middle of a block of days off so it is difficult to go anywhere (ie to go back home to Europe)?

If you are not here yet. Then shut up.
After a year here you will know what I am talking about and I will blame you for not listening.

Hey guys,

I'm that guy who is new to this particular forum. I've read through all the pages of this thread and have not found much current information on the interview process for the type rating conversion FO's.

I have been selected for an interview on Oct 28th. I am furloughed RJ FO and have never flown any of the aircraft of their fleet. To me, the sim seems pretty straight forward, but does anyone have any info on the interview process for type rating conversion FO's in particular?

I have ordered ACE, but what do people suggest for studying the JAA stuff for the 50 question test? I've got 2 months and nothing to do but study, so I want to go over there prepared.

Also, anyone else going for an interview around that time?

Hi!

I THINK I PASS BECAUSE I AM REALLY GOOD AT GUESSING
I think I know what the guy is saying. He is good at test taking, like I am.

You save the questions you don't know, or those that take a long time to calculate, 'til the end, and then guess at any unknown questions before you run out of time.

You read each question and all the answers very carefully, and if you don't know the answer, try to eliminate any answers that don't match with the others, or don't make sense. You can also use the information on other questions and their answers, sometimes, to find the correct answer for a different question.

I took the CAA Conversion Exam (with is very simliar to JAA) in error. I had not studied AT ALL for the Conversion Exam (ALL the subject materials from the JAA exams). I managed to get a 59, which I thought was pretty good, considering that I didn't know the material. I had to try and answer most of the questions based on the information in the test, as described above.

I also lost some points because some of the questions referred you to a diagram or chart, but the diagram or chart was MISSING from the exam! Nice.
