GF morphs into EY
Well well well, this is almost as riveting as Bold and the Beautiful. Almost.
Now its "The Bored ( GF ) and the Beastly ( EY )
GF morphs into EY. in the last few episodes:
The departing Ozzie takes most Ozzie cronies with him, some still riding the wave of favouritism, no real exp to note other than they drink together. Most go immediately. Others have a staggered start to feign real assessment and selection processes. Right.
Anyone left behind either goes to jail, or is promoted to seriously ridiculous levels. The smart and capable go on to the airline of choice.
EY starts to pilfer pilots and crew, all under seemingly above board recruitment processes. Right.
Some pilot assessments didn’t go past the first hour? What the…. I hear the cabin crew ones were equally laughable…."Are you breathing ? " HIRED!
GF gets rid of NB - the usual crew corruption. GF replaces him with the Whale. EY takes NB. EY gets rid of NB - now the usual roster corruption. EY replaces him with the Whale.( But only minutes before GF gets rid of the Whale - for the usual crew corruption AND the usual roster corruption -maybe to replace him with NB? )
AD takes the baton, runs half way round the track, then drops it, BN picks it up ( he cant see the grease on it ) starts running screaming " allowances, seniority!!!!". MK still on house arrest. LS still smelling like a rose. The bored is bored. The corrupt are corrupt. And you still cant get a frig******in staff ticket when you need one.
Oh my head hurts…can I have a few of those pre assigned BKK's and MNL's that are going to the boys? With call out of course

GF is not out of its hinges when it comes to malpractice.

LS or not LS the show must go on, he will go down as another @rsehole amongst many others. But is he staying?

Yes made me laugh too.Its just a shame FAY always feels the need to lower the tone.I hope she isnt leaving GF because we certainly dont need hosties with lots of axes to grind at EY.So fay why dont you just limit your posts about catering matters to the cabin crew forum,be a good girl.

Incredulous cretins combined with your lack of vision beyond the monthly paycheck et voila! Etihad.
Sorry to disappoint you, i am in SHJ where management have learned exactly how not to do things, prove is no one complains on Air Arabia.
Great salaries, and no crap management like EY and GF.
Say hi to hammood and Hoguie we've seen what they've done and I don't envy you, particularly when most of your management isn't even able to last one season.

B7 and wallflower - glad you appreciate the humour buddies, without humour this is all a bit unbearable. Sadly though its all true 
Severely Jetlagged - maybe you had a fair go buddy, but buds of mine were given the short end of the stick. Decisions made before sim, before the hours end. For those who had a decent shot = good for you. For those who didnt, get to Oman Air and Emirates will you. QUICK.

Interestingly...Staff travel in the 1980s when GF was a smaller airline reportedly
made BD300,000.000 profit per year out of Gf and other airlines staff ticket sales....in some of thoes years GF paid a profit share bonus to everyone including crews...they also gave long service watches to pilots...A nice steel Rolex oyster for 20plus years and a God awfull looking (queers only) one for 10years plus (It was a Swiss watch and sold for BD80 in the market...one blokes gave his to his house boy as he would not be seen dead wearing it...others flogged them back to the shop...I still have mine..never worn and still in its box.
Managers got gifted free Ford limo. cars and the ops manager a local chap even turned his down and negotiated a better more expensive car...he supposedly also ran a smaller building company that fixed the leaky ops roof 24/7 before the present Pink Palace was built.
I often wonder how the sixth most profitable airline in the world with no unions or staff pension fund to worry about managed to manage us into this present mess.

The idea that GF have a sure job in EY is just a load of rumours only. They are good experianced pilots and therefore make the interviews and not for any other reason, also from what i have heard nearly 20 did not make the interview so please tell where you get your information from and for sure ask for a refund.....Its a 3 day process and you must pass every part of the assessment before getting the job.
