Etihad Training Dept?

Etihad is now on it's ninth head of training. Anyone know what happened this time?

Many people have been changed, are changing and will be changed. It is a normal thing at EY.
The word on the street is that our new Managers Cabin Crew are to be changed again.

What is general mood in EY ?
What is the latest deal ? did the housing allowance go up ?

was interested to apply a while ago, but was put off by all the negative vibes. I`m looking for greener pastures again. Is EY worth considering ?? some inside comments please...

Cheers,
Rogi

There are hundreds of pages written about the conditions at Etihad. Go read them, and lets try to stick to the topic.

The Etihad gripe

I told you so..... some refute, some insult, some lie and some pretend; but most live in self denial, hoping for that day that things will change at EY.

Once it made a name for itself as it has, no professional would near it with a ten foot pole even if it were a five foot pole (nothing against the Polish)

So guys, brace in for more contempt, and the reputation of the largest whorehouse in the Gulf. This executive management has taken with it from another carrier all the worst in antequated practices, incapable slobs and pimps, even those that can't read or write are general managers and it tells it all. Those who know anything and work there are doing so with regret for a move they should have not made, the ignorant decide and they are the ones that are promoted. I've seen them all pretending all is OK, but I learned that all that show their teeth are not necessarily smiling.

Ignorance is bliss but when you have the responsibility of so many lives, surely the government of Abu Dhabi cannot let this go on, what a name otherwise it would be making for itself, if this is truly the national airline of the UAE and an image of Abu Dhabi's success.

Good luck boys,I am already flying out of Europe and do not miss the crap i saw for a minute.

Herb,
For heaven sake don't you have any other point on EY?.... did anybody in EY management scr*w your woman. Enough already, we got your point the first time.
Did anybody actually quit a better job for EY? I guess not...
Why don't we list down the perfect airlines for pilot available today so we all know where to go...let me start with the first 3..
1. Doesnotexist Airways
2, Inmydream Air limited
3. Mygrandfather Airline

Thumbs up

I completely agree with Herbsnspices. I worked for KU for a couple of years and one fine day decided enough is enough. Everything exactly as laid down happened at KU too. I guess it`s the same **** all over the ME, just different spade! Simply had enough of all this crap & b/s, and that’s the day I walked out. In my opinion, there`s nothing worst than selling ones dignity & self-respect. Took a hike and that`s the best decision I`ve made in the last two years.

Dear Kamaciwa,

Firstly, I believe that I am entitled to my opinion, but second and this may concern you, is that nitwits without dignity like you flying in the jungles are probably the guys flashig the green cards when it comes to subservience as the norms dictate at EY.

With all if not the majority of perks always hanging like a carrot in an airline that has "unlimited budgets" and losses into the billions due to "glutonous" procurement systems, and that fails it's pilots in many other regards. Come on gloat again so i can pierce that cheek of yours that's full of hot air.

So prior to moralising us, I understand that due to your nationality you may not have much of a choice and therefore have to sell your soul to the devil, not the rest of us though although I am only speaking for myself.

And I sympathise, so much so as a matter of fact that I left you in there to live and bask in the glory of the "World's fastest growing airline" filling its ranks with lunatics like you and the cabin load to match, if that is any reference to go by.

But definetly if prostitution is somehting you are used to and it runs in your family, then I do not question for a moment that Ey is the place for you. Keep going and don't look back. The day will come when HE will swing by in his car to collect your wife/daughter without bothering whether you are there or not, then again he could be coming around for you! But if that's what rocks your boat! Well...!

H&S you really do come out with the greatest load of bull.

We all understand you dont like EY or what it stands for...time to give it a rest you are boring us with this constant childish drivel.
We are not all third world lepers..infact most of us are probably better qualified than you...
Concentrate on your new employer if you have one.

No Flare,

Tie some rubber to your lower end, when your nose is too high the risk of your back end rubbing on the runway is very high, more so considering the type of experience that EY has gathered and you would be very lucky if it's only your bottom skidding on the runway.

Maybe you can explain why "certain" pilots fly only certain blocks, is it to do with unregulated licensing? Or preferential treatment? I heard the same was happening in another airline a couple of years ago, how queer that is now?

By the sounds of it it looks like you have all the ingredients for the first fatal crash in the region in years,
Now if that is anything to go by, I wouldn't call it reference material I would like to relate to. Sorry did I hear the "fastest growing airline in the world"? With what? low life pimps like you?

I'll give you another couple of months, and I am sure that you will be singing on another branch from another tree, when you know what's coming your way.

H&S

Grow up and try and act like a professional pilot (if you are one!) your childish scribble is painful.

I know it's off the subject but is there any more news on the speculation surrounding James Hogan (formerly bmi, Gulf Air) joining Etihad as Chief Executive?
