As a short haul pilot, I change my sleep patterns several times a week.. .Catnaps and Valerian tea help a bit (I prefer to leave drugs on the shelf), but I still find I'm frequently tired.. .What do you do to drop off when you're wide awake, stay alert when you're dying to doze off or work through cumulative tiredness etc? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

dear botw. .i think i know how u feel. studying for atpl's at home, fulltime demanding/stressful shiftwork type job, and 'trying' to be loving husband and father to 2 demanding young children, i feel pretty beat out by 7pm every night, and when i get to bed, i've got my study problems in my head and can't sleep, some day it will be all worth the effort! won't it?. .2 large spoonfuls of that dark rich coffee please!
