The _proposal_ is for the DVLA Class 2 (professional driver) standard for the NPPL. The DVLA website has a long description of the standard: www.dvla.gov.uk. .. .Those who don't qualify for Class 2 being limited to solo or with a qualified pilot, if they meet the standard for Class 1 (private driver).. .. .Nothing is set in stone yet!. .. .Edited addition - listen to BEagle (see your earlier post), he knows - I just read!. . . . [ 10 March 2002, 15:42: Message edited by: Tocsin ]

Thanks, your web link was very useful. As Im hearing impaired (wear one aid) Im worried about not passing the medical, but the news seems good, and also an AME emailed me and siad that so long as I can hear what I have to hear with the aid I should pass the normal ppl medical, but want to be sure.....doing plenty of learning (and loving it too) but obviously want to be able to fly at the end of it all
