Da quello che so io i diretti interessati non sanno ancora chi è in esubero e chi no,tanto meno gli stipendi futuri, insomma nessuno (a parte chi ha firmato) sa qualcosa?

Saluti

Confermo questi rumors.

Hello everyone,
Sorry to dig up this old thread, but does anybody know if the comandanti of Alitalia are still considered Dirigenti?
Are all Captains considered. Dirigenti in other Italian airlines as well?

Thanks!

I think their current qualification is more like "unemployed".

That is indeed the case, AFAIK.

Ciao,

Ok, thanks.
Looking at the definition of dirigente in the codice civile, I found this strange. I thought this was just a temporary trick to survive the CAI crisis....

Why? Art. 2095 does not actually define what a "dirigente" is, that is up to your work contract to determine.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with a Captain having managerial rank. His level of authority quite exceeds that of most managers.

Ciao,

Take care about the bad side of the coin. A dirigente can be fired in a much more easy way

I fail to see the dirigente side of my position as Captain.
Yes, I have authority as commander of the airplane. But I have no authority in taking decisions that affect the profitability of my company for instance. I just fly the thing from A to B according to the schedule my company sends me every week. This suits me just fine.
Why the drive to get a dirigente contract? As Henry says, it just gets you fired more easily.
