Unfortunately the wrong email arrived, at the moment there are no further courses planned for those in the waiting pool

No training course

Yesterday I’ve received an email from Wizz who said that for winter 2023 are fully resourced and they don’t plan any other training course at the moment, they keep my application in the holding pool. Someone have received same email ? I did assessment on April

Mave944 4th Oct 2023 14:26

Documents update

Hello Pilots, could you advise me on how to update the documents, that were uploaded and are up to expire, there is no button or option to change them on the Wizz site.

Wizzair is currently experiencing problems with NEO engines, they will have to be sent for checks, lots of airplanes will be grounded cause of this. There will be a surplus of pilots, that is why there is delay with new jobs probably.
Also take in consideration that most of the new cadets are being taken now from WAPA program in wizzair.

as above, plus, if in the holding pool for more than 12 months, expect to repeat the whole assessment.

For this winter they are giving priority to experienced FO and captains, so I don’t think the reason is a surplus of pilots. Furthermore, the airplanes involved will be grounded gradually to avoid a bad impact on the overall schedule. For these reasons I think that keeping us in the holding pool it’s not just a bluff.

So I guess that in current situation me and several of my colleagues (all NTR cadet level) won't be invited for an assessment till at least the first quarter of 2024. It is what it is.

Flying90 30th Oct 2023 10:13

Hi guys, want to pass your assessment easily by just studying 35min a day? Want to know how to show great CRM skills that will impress the assessors? If that's a yes, then check out this : Assessment secrets 2023

Wapa graduate

Anyone ever heard of a cadet being kicked out from wapa because of a failed assessment before TR?

what about for Wizz UK? Those cadets cannot be based in the UK

TogaToFLs 28th Dec 2023 11:47

Does anyone know or have heard of any NTR 200h cadet (or type rated with no hours on type other than base) over 35 years old ever get selected by Wizz?

That's good to know! How much over if you don't mind me asking and was that as a NTR or self-sponsored typed?

Aero98 5th Jan 2024 11:57

Hi guys!

A friend of mine sent me a multiple times forwarded screenshot, apparently someone got invited for an assessment, there are multiple dates between 15th January and 28th February.
I applied last year in february, but I have not got invited. Did any of you got an invitation?

On another note, those in the holding pool, did you got a start date yet?

paul.gdd 7th Jan 2024 11:15

Hi! Do you know how many cadets have been invited now to the assessment?
I am in holding pool since april, still NO news... no start date.
