Any recent feedback for Ryanair non type rated or Lauda assessment in Dublin? Any sims requiring procedural approach or just vectored? any help appreciated, thanks.

Guys, I've applied 6 months ago but still no invitation. Is anyone in a similar position waiting to receive an invitation?

I applied 2 years ago, and then somehow managed to again 5 months ago. Never heard anything from. I assume it's not meant to be for me and Ryanair

The fact is Ryanair remains the only opportunity for a serious chunk of graduates. The "real" airlines are either not hiring, want x000 hrs of experience or as mentioned, require a strong contact to get you an assessment.

Hi all,

Anyone invited for assessment in Dublin on the 13th September? I am booking a sim prep at AFA on the 12th in the afternoon, it would be nice to get someone else in to double the PF/PM time.

Thanks.

Just saw your post while scrolling up a bit ;-) How did it go mate?

Has anyone who applied recently (cadet position) received an invitation for the online assessment?
Thanks

Buddy of mine applied about a month and a half ago, had the online assessment last week so I think they are turning it around quite quickly at the moment if your application has just gone in. He passed and is now in their "shortlisted for in person assessment in Dublin" shortlist, wondering how long he'll be stuck on that!

I applied a couple of days ago, so expecting them to get back to me in the next two weeks, if mine goes at the same pace as my friends!

PilotHW 21st Sep 2022 07:48

The turn around for online application to doing the AON/Cut-e Tests seems to be quite quick at the minute as I have received my invitation to do these less than a week after applying.

Anyone got any tips or advice on how to best prepare for the online assessment? Would happily receive any advice!

If you read through the last pages of this forum there is already a lot of information about how best to prepare etc.
All the best!

Hi everybody! I have a doubt about the assessment in Dublin. Once you pass the online part, do they give you an option to select dates? Or they just tell you that your assessment is a certain day?

Toro103r 25th Sep 2022 19:46

Are they accepting people with normal MCC/JOC,m i was told by someone who is involved with the cadet recruitment that unless you have an APS theres not much point applying. Its not mandatory to have an APS we know, but he said it as a friend

I applied without JOC or APS and passed. So did atleast one guy from my assessement day that I know of. What I reccomend you is to do some sim prep before, 5 hours should do the trick, maybe 3 if you have recently been flying in a sim

Are you sure it was because of your English? It's news to me if they have started including the reason for not passing in their email.

People often come up with conspiracies that the assessors were out to get them in particular, unfortunately the mind desperately searches for explanations to what it can't understand and comes to any random conclusion.

Regarding your english, if the message you wrote above is anything to go by then I must say it doesn't look level 5 to me. I'd seriously focus on improving your English as well as perhaps going for some sim preparation to see where you may be going wrong and be better prepared for next time. I'm sorry it didn't work out this time.

Then that's quite good if they've given you that feedback. They wouldn't say that without reason, they badly need pilots. Do your best to improve your English as much as you can and best of luck in 6 months time. Try work on the English ASAP and perhaps try Wizz as well in the meantime.

Hii!

I decided to do mentored program with RYR and in the next weeks I'll be doing the first statge of the assesment (Online test). I've prepared from pilot latest job the phsycotenic games. The theory from aviation exams reviewing (Meteorology, OP, AirLaw, POF, Performance, M&B and systems). Someone has done the online test few weeks ago? I'd like to get some feedback.

Hello

I just Finished the online assessment today.

The 30 ATPL questions was quite a challenge for me. I Finished my atpl in 2019, so it's been a while since I've touched on the subject.
I was fairly sure about 50% of the questions, uncertainty for maybe 30 % and the last 20% was just guessing for me.

I am not sure how much the ATPL counts in the total score, but has anyone passed the online assessment with, what they felt like was a bad atpl result?

I'm fairly nervous of failing simply because of this..
All the other psychometric tests went way above expectations, so those wont be pulling the score down I'm sure.

MEP LAND and ME-IR

Hi guys,
If the MEP Land has expired, but the ME-IR is still valid ( I had taken my MEP LAND CPL skill test one month earlier than the MEP-IR skill test), am I eligible for the interview with MEP LAND expired?

Furthermore, If I will pass the assessment, do I have to keep my ME-IR valid before starting the type rating? Or it's still applicable that the ME-IR might be expired at the start of type rating.

Thanks!

JuliusCaesar 30th Sep 2022 11:46

Hello

I passed the online assessment and the e-mail that was sent to me to inform of this had the following in it:
"Please note that in order to be eligeble to attend an assessment, all you ratings including the ME/IR, English Language proficiency and Medical Class 1 must be valid."
