This looks like a personal issue and was seen recently as negative spam with 3 different threads in the studies forum against bristol. Sky4u has an incredible amount of rapport with very experienced 737 rated pilots for preparation and checkrides. It's a rumour network after all, do your own research.

Sim is a FNPT-2.

Now regarding the simulator quality that's a goal for simtech. And that was my starting point in this thread, because many posts weren't telling the actual facts.

Additionally APS MCC isn't required by law so why not aiming for a standard MCC JOC?
And for this course you can choose between FBS and FFS. For roughly 5000 Euro you get a MCC JOC on a B737 full flight at Cockpit4u as aronsha wrote earlier. Think about that. Or just go ask TFC Kaeufer or RWL for a good offer.

Best regards to all newbies and always make up your mind for alternatives. Always having a critical look will give you a better overview. In the end it's your money and you should invest it in the most useful way.

i did my APS MCC at Sky4U. it was neither good nor bad. but the instructors did not practice same standards. some asked data about the aircraft... but why? this was no type rating. they often asked questions that were not in the syllabus and then blamed us for not learning enough.
but the office was always helpful whenever needed.

Reputation comes first

A) reputation: Simtech was founded in 2004, Sky4u much later. Business is running, expanding constantly since then.
B) quality: simulators and instructors of simtech well known for top quality. Most Simtech students found an airline job and flying all around the world.
C) costs: training at Simtech is worth every penny even if little more expensive than Sky4u. The biggest extra is the wide range of airline contacts, that you can write to or call for further information on screemings. Not to forget the better and newer simulators.
The winner is clear: Simtech

All Ryanair approved training partners can be found on our website and priority for assessment is given to those who have completed the approved mentored programme through said partners. Just to clarify that Simtech are NOT a Ryanair partner. In the future, given the volume of candidates we receive, only candidates who have completed an APS MCC with an approved partner (and we are currently in discussions with other APS MCC providers), will be considered for selection and we will update you all accordingly as to selected partners and cut-off dates to accept applications from non-approved partners.

Wowzers a lot of anger in these posts people! I am in the market for either an APS MCC or MCC/JOC at the moment having just completed my CPL/MEIR last week :-) . I'm visiting all the main players here, Simtech, VA, Sky4U and CAE. I want to see the facilities before I hand over my cash. I have a lot friends who went to Simtech Aviation given their tenure in the business and in fairness the feedback has been good. Simtech offered me to come and visit and will even my pay my flights from London to see it. They seem confident that I'll be impressed with the facility and instructors I am also meeting VA although they can't guarantee a spin in the sim :-( . I don't want to do a specific Ryanair APS for the main fact that I want generic SOP's in case I don't pass the Ryanair assessment. At the end of the day I am spending the guys of 6k whoever I go with. That's a lot of money so I want to be sure it's money well spent.

I had a ride on that sim when I was there for my cpl module, The sim is really nice honestly.
They used to have also a nice 737 sim but appareantely they're not using it..not clear where it is now
At that time they told us they would have used both sims for the mcc/joc.

the mcc training manager is an a 320 captain, flew with small planet and seemed to be a competent and polite guy.
As others told you, no mcc has been completed yet, so it's impossible to find material

I went to Sky4U for the Ryanair APS MCC. The training was really good and the instructors were all RYR pilots. The S4U team really went above and beyond to cater to our needs and to help us whenever we had any difficulties. After I finished the training, I've uploaded my documents with CAE and they called me 2 days later to schedule the interview which happened about a week and a half after the phone call. Passed the interview in Dublin and will start type in July.

The simulator in Dublin is exactly the same as the one Sky4U is using. sky4u_berlin and Ryanairrecruitment can confirm that.

I really recommend Sky4U for their professionalism, dedication and work they put in. For me it was the best training experience so far.
