Cockpit4u is an official partner of LH for many years. The guys from Sky4u are former C4U employees by the way. Doing a sad job, trying to compete but no chance. RYR will terminate the cooperation soon. Not sure why they selected Sky4u at all

As somebody who is about to put down a deposit for an MCC/JOC at Sky4u instead if SimTech can you please justify your claim that Sky4u are doing a poor job and are on the edge of termination by Ryanair?

My JOC with Sky4u went very well but it was in Jun2018. It was not related to RyanAir, indeed I quickly got my assessment with FR. My mate went through JOC+MCC and got FR assessment quickly as well

He obviously cannot prove it. Sounds like sour grapes?

A friend went to Sky4U a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. He's got his base training scheduled this week. Worked out very well for him.

Simtech was superior
 

I went through the APS at Simtech and it was the best decision ever. Who cares about RYR when AerLingus is just a doorstep away? Passed the screening and waiting for a type rating slot. Final words from TRE: Simtech tipped the scales.

Difference between Sky4u Cockpit4u whatsoever
 

Just checked their websites. Seems that they're not directly affiliated. Cockpit4u is older than Sky4u and has a wide range of courses. I guess I would go for Cockpit4u rather than Sky. Sorry but Cockpit's partner is more impressive than RYR.

As far as I know CAE is RyanAirs major partner. Its not SKY4u. They just get some crumbs. Your calculation is misleading.

I think you really know little or nothing

Ryanair like some flight schools (like Bartolini o DFS) and some MCC providers like Virtual Aviation and Sky4U. Not many go to CAE for their MCC. CAE is their partner for crew training.

You can't say Simtech was superior unless you tried both. I went to Simtech and enjoyed it a lot back in 2017 (despite their crap sim) when the APS was not a thing yet and I can't say it. How can you?

Banana Joe - can you give some more detail about the Simtech sim - what were the issues?

When I went to Simtech the APS-MCC was not yet a thing. It was a simple MCC-JOC and their XJ sim was used. It was a mix between a CRJ and Boeing 737. That would be good enough for an MCC if it was not for their rudder pedals that could not be adjusted (I am rather short) and the trim was terrible. You would trim the aircraft and one second later it would either pitch nose down or nose up whether you trimmed up or down. It was impossible to fly that thing hands off.

As far as I know, for the APS-MCC they are using a proper 737 sim.

The instructors were very good.

That one's better than Sky's, guaranteed.
​​​​​They're using it for standalone MCC and APS MCC. But I wouldn't recommend the APS unless you're a rich kid. MCC JOC is totally sufficient imho.

Can you please share with us what evidence you have to prove that Simtech is better than Sky4u? You sound like you have some personal issues with Sky4u

Sorry my calculations are not misleading and Ryanair recently announced this at a Pilot event. They are expanding their fleet and this would be the main reason.
