Odds are 0% if you are Irish

Fabu 27th Mar 2015 13:10

You'll always hear rumours...
If you're Irish.. if you're a girl..

I got in, I am a girl and part Irish, and we spoke about where in Ireland I was from in the interview...

Now it seems that they don't want Dutch.... and I know a case, same age as me and similar hours... and is not being called for the assessment

Whiskey Hotel 27th Mar 2015 15:19

They're far from rumours unfortunately. All you have to do is speak to the dozens upon dozens of Irish low hours fATPL holders who have been left in the cold since 2011/12 by Ryanair and CAE..

Bearcat F8F 27th Mar 2015 18:00

Someone from my school who is Irish got hired by Ryanair not long ago.

Not saying they treat everyone equally but I wouldn't trust everything you read on a forum either.

Mikehotel152 28th Mar 2015 20:28

There are loads of new Irish FOs in Ryanair. There are also plenty of women.

Dublin 8th april

Anyone attending the assessment day on the 8th of April in Dublin.

Those of you who recently attended, I would really appreciate if you could post the technical and HR questions asked.

I'll do the same as soon as I went there.

Oh and by the way I know a german guy who just got positive answer. I don't think they select upon nationality.

Hi! How many hours do you have, and where did you make your MCC?
I´m curious because I applied almost 2 months ago and no answer yet... :ugh:

lowflight 30th Mar 2015 08:11

Anyone from last weeks assassments got any news yet?

I applied in 2008, got answer in 2015. You are not supposed to get at interview just by applying...

If you haven't got an reply after day 8 you will get a negative response on the 14 th day.

Assesment last week:

-difference between -800 and max
- swept wings
-anti ice last multi engine
-737 absolute ceiling
- differents kind of stalls

-why Ryanair
- what if you lose the med tomorrow
- how many bases we have
-story of Ryanair
-why we are successful

Got positive answer yesterday

There is no such pattern there.
I attended at Stansted on Feb 5th, 4/8 including myself got the green light after 13 days.
I also know a girl who got a negative after just a few days. (From the Dublin assessment)

Interview

I belive there is. From the Dublin interview, everyone I know who have been there follow the pattern of 8 & 12 days.

gjansen2012 2nd Apr 2015 10:24

Has anyone ever heard a decision earlier then said in previous Posts?

If you think you can predict Ryanair and their recruitment process then please can you also give me some lottery numbers.

In my case it was 4 days between assessment and positive mail.

anderse 2nd Apr 2015 15:52

I attended assessment on a wednesday in DUB and got positive answer the monday after.

Bearcat F8F 3rd Apr 2015 16:17

To those who were successful, do they give you a choice of TR start dates? If not, when do they inform you when your type rating course starts?

Thanks!
