The IAA will not transfer any expired rating. As the transfer process can take up to 12 weeks they suggest to have valid ratings for at least 16 weeks.

Had my assessment nearly 2 weeks ago in Dublin. Still haven't heard anything. How long did it take them to get back to you and how did they contact you? Thank you

For me it took exactly two weeks to get an answer. But I've heard from some guys that they've gotten back to them within days, so I guess it depends.

Normally they will call you if you are successful and email you if you're not.

You need a current MEIR for the day you start the type rating. MEP may not have to be current, not sure. Yes for the medical.

They do not care about MEP.

I'v got the magic call today for the telephone interview, but the lady on the phone said they will get back during the week with an assessment date and location. What is the normal time from the phone interview to the actual assessment?
