Waiting time

Time from Application to Interview to help you all out.

Applied Through CAE: Feb (Updated my profile everyday)
Mail from CAE asking for my CV: 7 months
Sent back my CV 1 day after the first mail.
Mail from CAE that they sent my CV to Ryanair after 5 days.
Mail from CAE that They would like to call me after 3 days.
I got the mail from CAE about the time they would like to call me, got the call same day. Simple straight forward questions, First passes CPL ME IR etc.
They invite you, time between call and assessment. 10 days.

All in all, it went kinda fast!

Eimin, Did you get the second email on Friday?

I too would also like to know how long it took from second email to getting the phone interview.

Cheers

jimmyjetplane 19th Nov 2012 13:41

second email?

To EIMEN.....

Hi so what's the second email? I thought they just call you from Ryanair asking you to attend on a certain date,then they email you with the briefing pack and confirmation date etc?

Thanks.

Jimmy.

Andy_20 19th Nov 2012 13:56

The second email I received thanked me for re-submiting my cv and that they had sent it to FR for approval. It then stated that if successful there, you would receive a phone interview in the coming weeks.

Thats all i know.

Hey fellows,

As I see, many of you have been called by CAE for RYR.

Just a question: When did you applied on the CAE's website ?

I did it two months ago and still no news.

Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it.

Ryan Air Assessment 11th December 2012

Hi jimmyjetplane

I waited about 5- 6 months.. i think thats about the average time to wait.

dullairport 20th Nov 2012 11:48

Anyone who recently been called or mailed about how their assessment went?

Papa_Golf 20th Nov 2012 12:38

Hello everybody, I've also received a couple emails from CAE asking for my CV and thanks for sending it. I applied for the program on October 5th and now I'm constantly wait for the phone to ring.

Best luck to the guys doing their assessment these days.

Enzo_flt 20th Nov 2012 12:56

Really you applied to the program on 5th October ? I haven’t get any answer or e-mail from my application that I have done mid-September… strange or not ? Hope they will call me…

aozc 20th Nov 2012 13:25

I waited 14 months but had gotten another job meanwhile. Remember that there are thousands of application in the database. I have heard a number of 4000. I don't know how true it is but I would not be surprised if it's true. On top of that they take in a couple of hundred cadets each year. That makes the risk of not being called at all pretty high.

Enzo_flt 20th Nov 2012 13:25

Oh ok… but according to what CAE calls (or not) people ?
Because I think that I have all the requirements needed… (English, first time pass IR/CPL & ATPL, less than 30 years old and so on…)

Enzo_flt 20th Nov 2012 13:36

@aozc:

If you cancel your application and apply again, maybe it appears to them like a new « application » ?
I was thinking about it but not sure that will work…

Swabber 20th Nov 2012 13:54

@cowhorse

Do you think that age is a big importance for Ryanair?
Cause I am finished at the end of December with my MCC and will apply when I recieve my license (around the end of February).
I passed all my ATPL and Flight exams in the first attempt and I am 20 years old.
Big chance?

Papa_Golf 20th Nov 2012 14:10

@Enzo

I was quite surprised that they got in touch with me after only a few week since I was prepared to wait months before getting called. Another guy that applied on the same day got the email as well.

SB172 20th Nov 2012 16:02

Hey, has anybody else got their induction at East Midlands on the 4th of February and type rating starting on the 18th of February also at East Midlands?

Would be good if anyone starting on these dates could get in touch so we can try and arrange accommodation with some of the other guys on the course.

If you do send me a private message, thanks!

Andy_20 20th Nov 2012 17:48

@Cowhorse

This first time pass claim, are you saying they won't accept you with a partial?

migue 21st Nov 2012 06:22

Hi guys! does anyone of you have the introduction on January 21th and the TR on February the 4th in AMS?
