Seriously, so what did you guys wear when you went trouth phase 2?
Sorry, but I can't believe we are having this conversation. The same thing that you would wear to any interview / selection process.
A Suit, with a conservative tie and nicely polished shoes.
Is it me???

Best of luck, either way, to everyone who sat Phase 3 yesterday. If you didn't make it through you're well placed to have a good shot at the next inevitable opportunity and you did well to get so far.

CTC AQC course
Hi all
I am due to start the CTC AQC course soon, does anyone have any information or advice on the areas I could begin to look at or study in preperation for the course in terms of SIDs STARs proceedures etc or is it better to simply turn up fresh to the course and work from there.
Not flown for a couple of months so was thinking of booking some jet sim time to get an idea of the power/pitch changes etc and to refresh ILS, NBD and one engine out proceedures what do ya think, is it worth it??
All information greatly recieved

Dragstrut,
The best thing for you to do is learn all the SOP's, profiles and pitch/power setting's they give you. If you get a reasonable grip on those before you start it will be a help.
The first two days of the aqc then go over these profiles and SOP's, clearing up any questions you may have. The following three days are CRM. So you have a whole week of practising with your partner using the carboard bomber in the evenings.
I don't think it is worth booking jet sim time, you have enough time to get up to speed on the course itself.

Transport
Hi everyone I will be soon attending phase 2 in Bournemouth and would like to know how long it does take on a cab from Christchurch train station and also from Bournemouth train station to the training centre. If anyone has recently gone for phase 2 I would appreciate some advice on the day , please PM me. Thank you all for your time.
