Anyone know how to contact them if the dates don't suit? I might not be able to go and I would like to know if I could re-arrange the time???

Thanks,
Screwballs

I seem to remember someone once posting a phone number for CTC in the forums somewhere...might even be in this thread.

Screwballs,

I've got the 16'th and 17'th of March for stage 2 as well!! Is yours for Bournemouth then? Im thinking of going on the 16'th, unfortunately it happens to be my birthday but I don't think i'll be in a fit state to go on the 17'th Don't worry if your dates aren't suitable just leave it for a few days and then some more dates will pop up on the web site for you to select. I've done this quite a few times, they first started giving me dates in Feb.

Hey Moog thank you for your help! How many times have you tried if you mind me asking?

Thanks,

This is the first time i've applied. What I meant is if u don't click on any of the dates on the web site when u log into your application status thingy more dates will appear (ie. you don't need to ring them if the dates aren't suitable, the site will update and add more dates). It's hard to explain lol.

When i said "I've done this quite a few times, they first started giving me dates in Feb." I meant i've not booked myself on any of the dates they've offered me so far for phase 2.

hello

does anyone yet know the criteria that must be met in order to re-apply to the ctc mcalpine ab initio scheme.

I know it is being finalised around now, but have been unable to track down any concrete details yet.

Not going tomorrow, but hope to have an interview soon.

Would be unable to start scheme until the start of June, so CTC said they would interview me nearer the time (having got through the 4 essay questions earlier in the year).

Does anyone have any dates after this week when they're heading down?

I have read this thread the whole way through today and I am excited about the prospect of even applying!

However, I live in Australia...

Does that mean i'd have to fly over to do the whole process?

Are there any other Australians that have done so?

Or are there schemes like this closer to me. This is the only one I have heard of.

I'm heading across for the 14th of April Phase 2 stage. Guess I'll see some of you there.

Seco, I'm in Ireland and I have to fly across for each stage but I'd say you should contact them and see whats what.

Hey all

Just got back from Stage 2. I can only really echo what has been said on here already. CTC is a really professional organisation and everyone there makes you feel as relaxed as possible in the circumstances. Big thanks to all there, it was a really good day.

Oh yeah and...

OMG!!!!! I got through to stage 3!!!!!

silentwitness , Congrats again, you must be chuffed! Just think, you are 60% of the way through!

Stonca , after completing the on-line application (Stage 1), I got an email the next day with the four supplementary questions (Stage 1a). After sending these back to CTC-McAlpine, I was invited to Stage 2 after a couple of days. It seems they are pretty efficient with the application process.

Any Ppruners going to Stage 2 on 7th/14th April, see you there!

Best of luck to all.
