we just have to wait and be patient I think even if sometime it can be a little bit stressful.
Did they not send you a congrats email saying you've got through to the next stage, but you'll receive another email for more details of the day as well as they date etc?

Or did you submit the tests, then heard nothing for all that time?

If the latter, that's a bit naughty as an interim email to keep you in a holding pattern (the pun was intended!) so you know you're through and will receive further vectoring from control!!

Hoping that we hear something these next couple of days. What are the dates for the next stages?

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the group assessment stage which will be held in Dublin between Monday 10th June 2024 and Friday 28th June 2024

I imagine we will probably be hearing back today or tomorrow, invites to select your preferential assessment date will be sent out this week if they are following the same schedule as last year.

Do you think we will get a call or an email? I wonder if in addition to group exercise and personal interview, there will be physics/maths test???

last year it was a good intro talk from Aer Lingus, followed by a group task, then a 5 minute personal interview. At that point they broke for a short while then called people back in one by one and let many go at that point. The successful ones went on to the afternoon session of the panel interview. No physics and maths tests.

One of the guys in a telegram group created for Aer Lingus applicants said as early as last week that he got a rejection mail. Since then, no one in that group as heard anything. Now I wonder if this bloke was just bluffing.
That said, I think it could be anytime now.

I still havent received the online assessments or any form of communication either. I emailed them a few days ago to inquire about it and they said "Please be advised all candidates will receive communication regarding the next steps in due time"

Mine (and a lot of others judging by some responses) went into my junk email folder and it was almost by chance I noticed.

Yours may have done too, if you haven't already checked?

The first round of unsuccessful emails were sent out last week, second round will most likely be today based on last years flow of events, round one of successful emails will probably be sent out this evening too if they are following the same timing as last year.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything yet? Also anyone have an idea what kind of numbers make it through each stage. Mentions of 5-8k applications and say 18 positions. How many get through initial shortlisting, online testing, then invited to group sessions. Presumably still hundreds make it to this point? Do they send many home in the morning?

Thanks for the idea, I have been checking both everyday though and still nothing. When I emailed last week they said everyone should hear back no matter what the outcome. Just surprised I haven't received a rejection or the online assessment. Probably a lot of applications to go through

on the previous intake, did they send emails out of normal office hours? Been trying to ignore the emails out of 9 - 5, but if they can send them after normal
hours I’ve got a whole lot more refreshing lined up.

Last year they sent emails out around 8pm, not looking likely that it will be today though as I haven’t heard of anyone getting any unsuccessful updates which were sent out earlier in the day last year, but definitely sometime this week I would say,

Hey mate, for me I received an email immediately after applying on the website, stating to fill in an attached form and that an official application wouldn't be submitted until the form was completed and that you had until the closing deadline to submit (17/04), then once done I received a confirmation that my application was being considered before an invite to online assessments.

Did you complete a form where you needed to upload photos of a passport and your education certificates?
