Yeah bud, got the same email. Just got to sit tight and wait til the 12th, I'm really curious to see how many people have been put on the waiting list to see how likely it is that we get called up.
I have seen that someone got through the waiting list last year on here I believe.

Congrats on everyone who got accepted

it says if applicable so I assume it is if you have one. It’s very difficult to get a medical in the short of a window from what I understand

Outcome of application

hey guys! I received my invitation for the interview too. Was wondering how people are preparing for the assessment day? Also I see some people are talking about SIM in this forum, but there was no mention of them testing for that on the email. Thoughts on that?

Thanks so much

That’s the final stage as it says on the website. Nothing to worry about now.

Hi everyone, congrats to everyone who has received an invite.

I received my invitation email yesterday, I noted it mentioned to bring Valid UK National Insurance Number (original and photocopy).

How to you provide this ? I don’t have a national insurance card but I do have proof of national insurance number on my pay slips and P60. Do you think this would suffice?

Thanks !

Personally I think that would be fine and I’d be surprised if you were the only person in the same boat but it’s worth shooting them an email just to check/give you peace of mind.

If you look back at last year’s thread, a lot of people were put on a waitlist, by my count 5. 2 of them were offered a place (one seemingly later on the same day they were put on the waitlist - 24th March 2023 and one seemingly on or just before 5th May), unfortunately 3 of them didn’t post again (in that thread or anywhere else on here) to confirm wether they got to the assessment centre, however one of those people (Alanga1991) posted in this thread so you might want to ask him if he got the to assessment centre last year.

The wording of the email for the waitlisters last year explicitly suggested it was possible they wouldn’t get a chance and would have to reapply next year whereas yours doesn’t and presumably the main reason to change that wording is because they do think it’s at least likely they’ll be able to eventually offer you a slot.

Unfortunately I can’t post links because I’m too new but the title of the thread was: “Leading Edge LEAP+FI, & TUI UK Pilot Cadet Programmes”
so just search for that and you should be able to find it.

It’s important to note that that thread includes both applicants for a programme from Leading Edge and TUI so it’s a bit of a mess and not always clear what people are referring to but it’s usually discernible.

People start getting wait listed and invited to the TUI assessment centre from around page 13/post #244 onwards.

Hello everyone. Congratulations to everyone who has received positive news so far regarding the TUI MPL programme. For those who have not been successful, please do not let that deter you from achieving your dreams to become a pilot. I myself, like many many others, have faced disappointing setbacks when It comes to these sort of pilot scholarships, we've all just got to remain resilient and keep going! That being said, I too have been placed as one of the people on the waiting list for an assessment centre date, hopefully we all hear back with more info soon. I have emailed TUI regarding this, if I receive any response, I will share it here. Good luck to all.

Congrats! There’s no important info in the confirmation email, it just confirms the date you booked and says:
Should you have a change in circumstances leading up to the allocated day please contact the MPL Recruitment team or if you wish to withdraw from your assessment day please visit your candidate portal via”

Then it gives you a direct link to your sova candidate portal.

I emailed TUI and they said that the recruitment process is the same as last year , with 140 people invited to the assessment centre.

They also confirmed there was only a very limited number of people on the waiting list.
