hi, actually I have passed wizz’s assessment twice. First in 2020 february (just before covid) one year later I asked them about my situation, they said I was no longer in the holding pool because one year has passed. I passed again in 2023 april, currently in the holding pool waiting for any starting date before this one year of holding pool ends again.

I applied last year in february, but I have not got invited. Did any of you got an invitation?

On another note, those in the holding pool, did you got a start date yet?
oh really? NTR FO?

Hi guys,

a couple of questions, does anybody have info on whether they are actually hiring new people (sending them on type ratings) or are these interviews just for the holding pool? Also regarding the 1st stage tech. quiz, is PilotAssesment atpl refresher enough for this or would you recommend AE level of refreshment?

Thanks!

Hi Guys,

I have two questions / two problems for you. I signed up for Wizzair at the beginning of January this year. Here I start my first problem. When I click on the "Jobs Applied" tab on my application form there is only one thing there and that is the "Pilot Application Form", I know from my buddies that they have things like "First Officer - Non-Type Rated- Cadet level". I'm quite worried that I don't have anything like that there, does anyone have anything similar? Or any advice?

The other problem is that I know for a fact that there is a selection process for the cadet level until the end of March, but I haven't received any invitation, nothing at all. Do you think I can expect anything? I don't know exactly how it works and I'm quite unsure.

Thank you in advance for your answers and advice

Hello,

They said during a virtual open day that they gathered all applications forms within only one "Pilot Application" and that's why yours is different. They for sure applied well before January 24.
For your second point, I guess it's "first come, first serve" policy to receive an assessment invitation so you should receive it in any case but sometimes it's really long...

My advice would be to attend all virtual open days because at the beginning of each one, they share a QR code to scan which sometimes allows you to get shortlisted within 1 week and sometimes gives you flights and accomodation free of charge for your assessments (once it comes).

Best of luck !

When applying as cadet, how much of a difference makes between picking Hungary or Malta? Are they on different recruitment processes?
Also, in case of sucessfully joining as a cadet, how is base selection made?

And BTW... any details on their rooster options? Checked their site, but I'm not sure what they mean by "REVERSE" and how "FLEXIBLE" works.

They do have different pools for each of them. Wizz Air Malta has bases from Italy, Albania, Romania and Austria. You get to say your preferred bases if you reach the technical interview.

I suggest you join a Virtual Open Day (see their Linkedin for dates available) where they share details about payments, rosters, etc.
