In case it hasn't been mentioned here before, easyJet MPL trainees now get a full EASA SEP PPL as part of their flying training, something you don't get with the ATPL. Quite a good addition really. The reason is that otherwise an easyJet MPL student wouldn't have at any time got a traditional flying qualification.

Hi Alvor, I provided details of my referees on my initial application and to my knowledge they were never contacted. I've never been asked for an actual written reference.

Is Skytest worth investing in? From a financial perspective I can't help but feel paying £79.00 for something I won't be using again after this month is not the greatest idea.

I did for my interview and it helped out no end, I don't think I'd have done half as well as I did without it. You also get other aptitude tests for future interviews that are more complex so it may have future uses for you too! Hope this helps!

£79 isn’t that much compared to the £100k pricetag for the course you’re aiming to get on 🤷*♀️

I bought skytest prep software last year. I’ll be starting the MPL course in June. Its well worth the money, it does have a lot more practice tests types than you need for the EasyJet Assesment. The customer support is great too.

Many cadet blogs have information on the aptitude tests, one even has a discount for Skytest ~ £10...
For the maths part of the assessment, its a no.
The maths on a certain aptitude test website is where you want to look as the maths on that certain website has questions which are in similar style to the questions you'll get in the assessment.

To all,
I have received an email which states that the L3 Generation easyJet program will close on the 11th April 2018... 2 months ahead of time.

What does this mean do you think for those of us currently partway through the assessments? Is it likely there just aren't any spaces left?

I would have thought there would be, why not just close it now otherwise.
I think they would have to make an allowance too for that fact that some people will dropout for various reasons.

Hi,
I am new to this forum however, week ago I have booked myself for Day 1 assessment which is taking place after the closing date. I have still received email with the closing date and now wondering what should I do. If I don't attend I will probably lose my money which is not good.
Any idea if easyJet will consider my application even though my assessment is taking place after closing date?
or do you think they will reopen within a year?
Many Thanks!

Just spoke to L3 and they would want any last applications to sit their interviews and selections through this month and May, which unfortunately is not suitable for me with some important exams first (I was hoping to defer my selection days until the Summer). On the other hand, CAE Oxford is open for another 3 years and I can do the exams whenever, but their start date is backlogged until Summer 2019.
They recommended I go on whitetail where you are still likely to receive offers from easyJet and are super-flexible on start-dates. The only downside to whitetail before was the loan repayments during the employment hold-pool but that's not so much an issue for me anymore. Anyone have any recommendations? Anyone else in a similar position?

Oh no, I was hoping this wouldn't be true. CAE Oxford explained to me that the Generation easyJet program was to guarantee a certain number of pilots for the airline while they still offer to jobs to whitetail hold pools since the program was to secure a certain number of jobs. I'm not too sure which is my best option.
