I saw your Join date is even 2 years before mine..and you still here writing or better criticizing..and if I can give You a suggestion, try to make much effort in finding a Company where to fly!
Haha since when is my join date at Pprune related to my career in aviation. With that logical reasoning in mind I do understand your logic in signing up to sell your soul for 5 years through an unknown company in Cyprus. Good luck! Can you explain what it says in your contract if they don't have any work for you in that 5 years and you want to do some contracting somewhere else? Curious to see how that works...

As far as I can see I am not saying that these are the mafia I just responding to your argument that it feels like a great family... Which is always nice to hear... But then again the mafia is also a great family and they have this issue about leaving which you only find out if you want to leave early... I am not sure how that is in your new "family" but I understand they also dont like leavers albeit dealt with in a more civil contractual way But you did your homework and it is all ok

Oh and by the way: if you signed up without Pink glasses and after reading the contract than you are smarter than the rest because you got "our assurance"

Good luck and thanks for your career advice, I need it! LOL

No RYR for me I think It's easy talking of a top of an arline career and contract started on 2004. Try to be a low hours pilot now and I guess that even you after sending a huge amount of cv and fighting to keep current your licenze, u are going to start to take in consideration this kind of programmes, so I don't think so it's fairy to criticize people which they are doing that. If you criticize them because you have solid and real proof that low hours can get an airline job or any other aviation job without paying nothing but just passing interwiew and showing ability and skills, please show and introduce us to them, because I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel execpt this fuc***g programmes for low hours.

What about their latest advertisement on B777 fos and captains? The advert was yesterday, when I called them to ask about it they said the position is not open any more. This is the second time they do this. They seem to be advertising for positions that do not exist !

Pakithepilot we have to at least try to understand MR. no ryr for me...
As first think..please introduce yourself, tell us..where are you flying, when you start? and How?...update us...so You can help someone here

Do you know what I think Pakithepilot..the body still jobless and he has got a lot of time to spend here in PPrune and most of all to criticize..that's his job now....he lost his road...
Or maybe is traying to achieve many mnay information as possible to know what we already know about AviationCV...You wanna know?..do some effort and you'll get paid

...and actually, man, try to read carefully and understand...who said that your joining date is linked with your carreer?? me...---I simply was confused to see a person joined in 2006 like you still here on PPrune criticize.

Dear AXL, there is no need to explain who I am but over the years I have been highly critical of all kind of P2F programs on Pprune that prey on the innocent. I have been in this business for too long and have seen what happens to all these great new schemes... and when I see one I warn people about it. Every once in a while we get the Eagle Jet, MSD, Californican Falcon and the likes through the door who are very interested in paying us to take their candidates. Generally they will leave once we start talking selections and standards.

So far I have had a 85% percent succesrate in predicting that a lemon is a lemon and not an orange... and the 15% will probably go too in the future or at least have destroyed the live of guys and gals to eager to start flying that they forgot to research first. They are the ones knocking on our door totally skinned...

So once again: goodluck with your new "family", a petty that they give the new babies in the family such crappy contracts on an also new company in beautiful Cyprus. On a positive note: if you have to take them to court, at least it will be in a sunny country: well done!

Let's stay in touch specially about a year from now when the feeling of happiness is replaced with realism

Hi @AXL can you fill us in how things are going? I think a year should have given you a good idea about your adventure.

If you sign up for rubbish like that, you should
a/ lose your medical for having absence of any brain.
b/ lose your medical for being certifyingly insane.

And before anyone says, it's hard for 250 hrs folk. These crappy schemes have been running for years now. You should have opted out before beginning training, it's a waste if time unless you are on an airline cadet scheme.I would ground myself permanently if this was all that was available.

Even Lufthansa is now selling package of TR+LT with no job at the end of it. I hope this makes all of you thinking about in which kind of world a low hours pilot falls after he/she earns his license. So, please don't judge.

@ aloa326
so what does it mean? a p2f is a p2f in lufthansa and is a p2f into any other agency, it doesn't make the thing different. If you do with lufthansa doesn't change the fact that you are still paying to work. Thus your post above is pointless, because lufthansa is behaving like any other airline company or agency who allowes to p2f.

Mate, if you pay me 50.000 and become my slave, Ill send you as many x-mas cards as you wish! Give me your address and I even send you one for Easter!

People who sign such contract are idiots and deserve what is coming to them.
I feel sorry for them, as persons, but they dont deserve to be pilots, when they are that dumb.

50.000Euro for TR.
Contract for 6 years.
No job guarantee what so ever.
But you MUST be available at all time.
They can terminate your contract and take your money at anytime.
Tripple-facepalm is not enough here.

Although I think first 2-5 batches will get good deal. Company need some advertisement. Of course, unless business dont go well, they they just go bankrupt and everyone loose their money. 30k euro for 737CL type - bad deal.

????

Pakythepilot;

If you compare the training of Lufthansa with Aviationcv we are far away to understand the concept of becoming a commercial pilot and hopefully an airline pilot........i hope for you that the Cipriotic Lawyers will release some conditions of the contract, otherwise you are going to pay the loan for 10 years and the double of the money you expected.

Best of Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Lufthansa do not have a TR+LT program. Lufthansa is a serious company. Aloa wasn't talking about Lufthansa offering TR+LT programs but about their cadet program, which to be admitted in you must be fluent in German.

LH

It is not possible to "buy" a line training from Lufthansa, if you wish to become a commercial pilot they have a cooperation with a german school.
You have to be fluent in German level B2.

It is very difficult assestment with a lot of test including DLr done in Hamburg.

LH is not aviationcv, they carried in 2011 110 millions of People all around the world, and they do not need to make money from pilots!!!!!!!
