They already closed the selections. See ppjn. A few hundreds applied over the weekend. Lot's of people with jet time. There were only 6 slots to fill.
I don't know if this means things are getting better. Or it shows how bad things really are... for sure a through comment about the schools who will use this to keep advertising. This industry is really .
Maybe we should all go and pay to do our first 1500 jet time and hope it brings us a better spot on the waiting list.

Or you can wait for the industry to run out of pay-to-fly' s so that airlines have no other choice but to hire the other guys.

Many airlines simply refuse to hire former pay-to-fly' s.
I can only guess that Brussels Airlines is one them.

People with airline jet experience are leading the line, followed by those with no jet experience but some significant time (instructors, ... ), themselves followed by the frozen ATPL' s.

The line is becoming longer by the day.

Hey guys,

That's some good news! Did they ask you to apply again? Or they just want additional info?

Good luck!

I think its an additional filter...it just asked for license expiry dates and any type ratings and how many hours you have done in the last 24,12,6 months.

Just sent off my additional information application form as instructed.........so it can INSTANTLY be thrown out!!!! Minimum hours, no type rating, IR expires next week, no money, big loan, no currency, Yippee. I'm a dreamer.
That said, good luck guys and girls. Hopefully 6 of us will be given a chance to try and prove our worth.

Hi guys,

Do you meet the language requirement? Wondering if they are strict with it.
@ wangus: keep up the spirit man! I sent my application 5 minutes after it appeared online, and haven't received any response yet!

Question

Hi guys,

has anyone of you information about the selection process itself? What type of test, questions they have. Appreciate any information out there.

Super! Another cadet scheme! If I just had 250 hours and a Self-funded Type Rating then I would be god-like.

From what I know, some ATPL questions followed by a session in the sim followed by an interview followed by psychotechnic tests.

Best of luck to all.
