I guess the instructors in CAE AMS are Ryanair pilots, right?
I chose AMS as first option, still haven't got any confirmation, and now I am wondering if it is possible to ask to change to EMA...

Yes trainers are RYR SFI/TRI and TRE.
quality in both locations is good based on friend's feedbacks but AMS is a bit better for the only fact that you have a cafe, bar, restaurant inside.
I am going to AMS in April, eventually let you know how it is.

No, standards are the same. The only difference is that you are next to Ryanair Training Centre in EMA so the paper bit after training may be quicker

For what it's worth, and this is only second hand information but have heard it from a couple of friends now - the training in EMA is better.
The reasons I have heard for this include that CAE AMS uses non FR instructors as well as some FR ones, which causes some standardisation issues, and also that the sims they use for the initial part of the training in EMA are proper FFS sims whereas in AMS they use some sort of fixed based touch screen overhead trainer.
On the flip side, I have heard socially AMS is nicer, but is that what you are there for?

Hi,
I have 5000 TT (turbo prop commuter, multi-crew).
Should I apply via CAE cadet or directly to [email protected] ?
Thanks in advance.

Ryanair phone interview
Hi there
With regard to the Ryanair phone interview, from reading previous post it appears that they ask the same six questions that were in the initial email and then the do a small english language assessment.
Has anybody had anything further than this, such as technical questions or questions about our resume, motivations, etc etc.
Thanks in advance
