Type rating cost/payment

Hi all,
I'm wondering and would like to ask all of you who got positive answer after the assesment; how to pay for type rating? I mean is it should be one payment or you/we are to pay total cost in few rates?
And also what about total price, there is a information about 28500E but what about the VAT? Should we pay or not (VAT)?
When I've been learning for CPL that was obviously whithout vat, but now?
thanks!

Did my inteview on 26th of january in Dublin and I got today positive call:

SIM: take off from Liverpool rwy 27, wal 2t sid, radar vector for ils rwy 27, visual above minima and go-around do to rwy incursion, then repositioned for ils. My partner had the same departure, but this time the radar was out of service, so we had to do the entire procedure, the instructor asked him what type of entry would he do for the hold, and asked me if I agreed. So we did the entire procedure, became visual above minima and go around due to blocked rwy, repositioned to land.

HR:
- Was the course expensive? How much did it cost? How did you fund it?
- Are your parents in aviation?
- What do they do?
- How do you think the TR is going to be?
- The most difficult moment in you training
- Pick 3 bases

Tech:
- B737 MTOW?
- B737 ceiling?
- Imagine one day we are on the rwy at MTOW, can we go directly at max ceiling?
- Why not?
- On the 737, what powers the flight controls?
- And the Flaps
- If the Hyd sys B fails, can you actuate the flaps?
- What is V2?
- How is it calculated?
- What is TORA?
- What Is TODA?
- How much is screen height?

Now I'm due to start the TR on mid/late June
Good luck to everybody!!!

Where do you have this 48% from? From what I hear, 2/8 or 3/8 are successful. At my assessment 4/8 passed, but I believe that was an coincidence?

CAE form questions

Hi guys.

When making a profile on CAE, what did you guys tick on the 2 boxes that says.
1. Supporting Crewmember program
2. Pilot Provisioning Job

Some of my RYR friends say that you are supposed to click both.

And if you tick the 1st box which training location do you pick ( im guessing Dallas isn't it)

Also this question on the regions you want to work in, should you tick all the boxes if you can work wherever. Or only europe as RYR operates here.

Firstly thanks a lot to those people explaining how the assesment is and their experiences, I found it very useful.
I would like to get some advices because I don't know if it is normal or if something is going wrong. Last week I received the famous e-mail from CAE asking for my CV and some questions. One day after I answered the e-mail with the information required, but 10 days after that I haven't received further information.
I don't know if my aplication is not able to proceed in the selection process and this means that my aplication has been rejected or what to expect.

Anybody has been in the same or a similar situation?

Devil The Irish Question......

So.....

Any Irish had an interview recently, even a request for CV or a telephone interview?

Who's calling J D to sort this mess out?

Wasn't O'Leary only preaching this week about how Irish he was in ref to the AL shares?

He'd keep up a stink if his Irish kids weren't given a chance!

Hi! I went to the assessment the 3rd of February and I had a positive reply yesterday. They are now asking me if I want to do the course in FR EMA, or CAE AMS. I know about CAE, but I do not know anything about FR and I can't find anything. If you can explain me which one is better, and also which location is better, EMA or AMS. Thanks!!
