Me too, I do not know why. I think is because I did it with CAE and Oxford cancel my application.

How often does OAA or CAE review applications to call people for a Interview? Is there a set day of the week where everyone receives the e-mail! I also applied towards the end of oct! Fingers crossed

Hey guys.

Have just spoken with CAE. Applied at there website and got an answer already the following day.
I know a couple of guys who applied at the same time and they have heard noting. Unfortunately I have failed one of my skill tests so there was no luck for me getting to work for Ryanair.

Don’t know why I was selected but the lady I spoke to said that Ryanair does not at the moment take people in who have failed an Skill test or ATPL test. The can accept partials but not complete failures.. Damn you CPL and Ryanair

Interview by phone

Hi guys,
I was just wondering how the phone call from OAA and CAE proceeds? What do they ask you to bring for the interview if you get one and what do they ask you on the phone? I had all skill tests first passes with (e- excellent), unfortunately I failed one subject by 1% and passed it for second time 90% plus. That's why I am worried about the response to this fact by RYR.

Ryanair

Hi everyone,

I've got first time passes in both CPL/IR skill tests and ATPLs, but to proof this I've got just signatures on the logbooks for CPL and IR and the ATPLs the results on two papers. Is that enough? Or they check themselves with the CAA to double check?

Ryanair

Hi all,

I just have a few questions and if anybody could clarify these, it would be much appreciated!

I have finished an integrated course and have 1st time passes in all theory and flight tests. I was looking at the OAA website and noticed that Ryanair is no longer listed under the airline schemes section, anyone know if this means anything?

Luckily tho i applied to CAE a few weeks back, anyone know how long it usually takes before the 1st phonecall?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys,

looks like no one wants to share a "secret" of assessment so I will... I was on assessment in December so I'm quite fresh
Assessment is very relaxed and all are very nice, first they do a briefing about sim and all general questions and put candidates into pairs for sim assessment. In my case they paired us by tables. Then they hand out a NDB/DME approach charts in our case to brief with your partner. (there is plenty of time to brief everything) Then they will send first two candidates to a sim and second pair to interview.
On interview they can ask you anything technical and personal...If you don't know it say you don't and is OK don't "dig" your hole...
On sim they want a good CRM skills do as you brief and in the way it is said in Briefing pack....on sim some departure general handling (climbing, descending,....) and then report your position by DME/QDR,....and then approach.

and that is all every thing is like I said very relaxed and I was enjoying really and the sim is great

Grads and good luck!
