Arrow Cargo looking at B75F's
Looks like Arrow Cargo is advertising for B757 crews. I wonder where
they will source the aircraft from when, 1) They have virtually no money,
2)FEDEX is scouring the world looking for suitable 757 frames to convert.
Would be nice to them in with new aircraft, but reality seems to say that
FO's will still be employed there for awhile.

Climbto350.com does indeed show Arrow looking for B757 crews.
Unconfirmed rumors listed on A.net also show MD-11s coming to
Arrow as well. Where did this unannounced supply of cash come
from? Last I heard, the financial situation was so bad that last
rites were about to be given. Anybody have any comments,
opinions?

I don't know how many times I have heard that Arrow is on its last legs. they are and outfit that seems to keep plugging along and never goes away. As for the 757's and MD-11's, the previous post is correct. Fed Ex is scouring the world for 757's and paying top dollar for them too. There is a saying There isn't a MD-11 that Fed Ex doesn't like, and they are keeping the eyes open for more.
As to the post by trash; Fed Ex announced today that their revenues are down from projected but the lackluster performance in the U.S. is being surpassed by the overseas aquisitions and markets.
Trash is correct in the interpretation of the future of cargo. I think the industry is heading for a shakeout. Right or worng the U.S. is still the market engine and this sort of thing happened in the early 70's when oil shot through the roof (I'm old enough to remember it). Only the strong and those willing to adapt survived.

Arrow Cargo 757's
Definetly happening, 4 757's are enroute to Arrow, they have a new investor with good ties and already have the airplanes. Should be airborne by late june!!!!! Yes rumor has it MD11's are a part of the new money peoples arsenal.

4-757s,10 MD-11s,14-777F,and 2-380s but is going to take few days cause W.C. is counting the money and the profit from Arrow Panama is helping to pay for all this A/C keep in mind that Mr. Zap. is also involve 2 of the most HONEST Gents. in the Aviation Industry so should not be any problems to acomplish this big operation before the end of the Year 2097.

757 guys off the street....
I think they needed some guys with 75 experience for awhile, possibly with a one year contract, never getting any seniority. Come to think of it though...what do other airlines do, when they get a new type of airplane??
