I don't know how many times I have heard that Arrow is on its last legs. they are and outfit that seems to keep plugging along and never goes away. As for the 757's and MD-11's, the previous post is correct. Fed Ex is scouring the world for 757's and paying top dollar for them too. There is a saying There isn't a MD-11 that Fed Ex doesn't like, and they are keeping the eyes open for more.
As to the post by trash; Fed Ex announced today that their revenues are down from projected but the lackluster performance in the U.S. is being surpassed by the overseas aquisitions and markets.
Trash is correct in the interpretation of the future of cargo. I think the industry is heading for a shakeout. Right or worng the U.S. is still the market engine and this sort of thing happened in the early 70's when oil shot through the roof (I'm old enough to remember it). Only the strong and those willing to adapt survived.
