I 've finally worked it out !! Dicky is obviously smoking crack, how else would someone come up with such inane, pathetic lies and dillusions ??
Apart from the pilots you " cowardly " sacked Dicky, everybody else you refer to has left of their own accord, some actually were asked not to leave ( fat chance )
Good luck with contacting my employer, I think they actually have a lower opinion of you and HKA than I do. :ok:

Hong Kong Airlines Interview

To all those that saved me hours from filling out the job application with HKA/HKE, Thanks.
I will spend my time cleaning out my closets. I really would not mind flying a large equipment, but I am secure at my present job, but things have stagnated where I am and I don't see much of a future now. I would like to work in Asia, however getting on with an Emirates or Cathay Pacific outfit would be ideal.
Any input on getting on with those 2?
Emirates seems to be waiting till next year to start interviewing and Cathay seems to be put in a hold also.
I did interview with Cathay several years ago, but did not get it.
I updated recently but have not heard anything, do they disqualify you if you did not pass the first round?
Let me know.

hongkongfooey 6th Oct 2008 07:23

Operator, no they do not penalise you if you fail 1st time. But you may have to be patient, none of the big carriers seem to be hiring until next year.

Singapore Sling

So the Singa boys are out, Wu! Seems as though the Singa boys were really operating out on a Lim. I wonder who Hainan is going to appoint in Lui?

The other question is, how long will Hainan put up with the last two Dicking around?

:ok:

When? How we can run with such a large of pilots quit in one time?
Anyway, we, HKA non-Sing related pilots, must "dress up" to re-build HKA's image / safety standard / public & senior management's acceptance....

A new forum say "Reborn of HKA".......... is coming soon!!!!:D

hongkongfooey 19th Oct 2008 08:41

50 Airbuses ??? Yep, just as soon as the 6 x 777s and the 747 freighter and the 340-600 are introduced...............what a pack of :mad:wits ( and bare faced liers )

I have heard from a very reliable source that Hainan Airlines have reneged on the lease with ILFC for the three ex-CX A340-600's. One of them in Hainan colours has been sitting outside the HAECO hangers in Hong Kong for about three months now.

Flight Crew Sackings?

The SCMP has an article today about the sacked Cabin Crew. Presumably, flight crew sackings to come?

A quick look at the HKA rosters show 50 Captains and 39 FOs, all for a grand total of five aircraft, with two aircraft going to Hainan. Interesting to see who gets the bullet, will it be last on first off? Based on HKAs recent history, I doubt it.

Whats going on?!!!

Right now I am in Japan. I was planning to run over to HKA for the interview today, but I was warn through this blog. That they are not promising to remiburse you for your expenses. Now they would have wasted my time with a future lay off.
Can anyone inform me of the safe and stable outfits in Asia and the middle east so that I can focus on those companies?

Hoofharted 21st Oct 2008 02:00

With the level of "discernment" you appear to be lacking......................?

Hong Kong Airlines says no plans for lay-offs

Staff reporter
4:00pm, Oct 20, 2008

Hong Kong Airlines has no plans to lay off employees at present, its commercial director, Raymond Ng, said on Monday.
He said the eight flight attendants recently reported to have been laid off was simply part of normal staff adjustments made by the company’s Human Resources Development.

Mr Ng said Hong Kong Airlines were also discussing the possibility of a merger with its sister airlines, Hong Kong Express.
“We didn’t see obvious declines in airline reservations in the next two months and will continue to add on new destinations in the future,” he told local media.
The director made the remarks after some of its staff heard that a formal merger between both companies was underway and extensive job cuts might be made.
Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways were established in 2001 and 2004, respectively.
Both companies are commercial airlines based in Hong Kong and provide services between the territory and over 30 cities in Asia. The companies have a common shareholder and already work closely together.

Well, that's it everything is fine then.

No decline in reservations, no melamine in the milk, it is all OK.
