Why are you chaps wedded to a seniority list seems odd to me - . times have changed. Cathay has survived and is profitable and is ahead of schedule to again run a 2019 schedule
It is of courto irrelevant in the bigger picture if you chaps decide to go or stay. Politics aside though what better deals are on offer that have any security at all

VOCH, your blind loyalty to CX astounds me! You kind of remind me and I would dare say most crew prior COS18 and other military inspired policies or “handbooks”.
But you, still flying the flag, proud as punch at all the rhetoric that comes out of the toxic death pool on level 3. Akin to what old mate Vlad feeds the local media.
You never come with straight facts and figures from what I see from your posts, and resort to demean people for stating actual facts and figures (I.e resignation rates) with no proper or, fabricated facts from your side. Like a typical anti-vaxxer on social media.
I think you have resigned yourself to the fact that you can’t get/do better than CX given your advanced age and now you’re stuck, hence your bitterness towards others who have gone to much greener pastures.
The pandemic was a lesson for the majority of crew (both CC and Flight crew) and put a lot in perspective about how they are viewed by the company. A lesson that was lost on you given your posts.

Perspective was not lost on me but in my view a balance to the hate needed to be found.
Now at least the postings are more than one sentence of hate.
I am far from blind about the company's failings but I am retired and day to day have not a lot of contact other than with old friends still working.
I have never until the past months been a prolific poster here but the nonsense, lies and pure hate being posted here frankly made me very cross.

Babyjet. I supported your comments, right up until you demeaned "anti-vaxers". It should not go without notice that statistics now developing suggest that, a) people who are vaccinated seem to be getting the virus in greater numbers than those who are not (natural immunity), b) vaccinated seem to be passing the virus in equal or greater numbers than the non vaxed, and c) development of serious health issues in the vaxxed, which is now becoming of great concern to the medical community. So, in summation, perhaps the non-vaxxed should be accorded a degree of respect. and perhaps it is they who have demonstrated common sense and prudence.

I will, thank you. If necessary. Although Covid seems to be losing its sting in much of the world. As we’ve been exposed to it. And people move on. Anyone can post fringe foil helmet articles. As they equally can in support of mrna vaccination. Empirical evidence would indicate however that it is working. And any vaccination, from tetanus to HPV, has some element of risk.
You enjoy your security and anti sedition laws, half arsed attempts to maintain zero Covid, the authoritarian plutocracy, and endless cycles of incarceration; no doubt only temporarily suspended. And your job that is now a shadow of what it was.

You are welcome to believe that Babyjet. Just don't impose your beliefs on my body (and certainly not on my childrens). To your point, I think the science, now that heretics like me are allowed to speak, is beginning to show some very troubling statistics in those who have been vaxed, and certainly those who have been 'boosted' numerous times. Does it not trouble you that the pharmaceutical companies have asked for a 75 year gag order on their research?
Can we please not derail this thread any further with the vax vs anti-vax nonsense. It has nothing to do with CX’s new sickness policy.
